I don't know if this is even relevant.
I don't now how this footage surfaced so quickly.

According to some reports Paddock sued a casino in 2014, but the case got kicked. Some people suggest that is the reason behind his madness. Personally I doubt it.

But here it is in any case:

The video shows Stephen's apparent attempt at a slip-and-fall lawsuit.

Why the hell do two grown men have either Powderpuff girls on in the background or as a screen saver?

Oh, boy, new can of worms.

That appears to be a reflection of a television.

Indeed. Hopefully it's his home office where the brothers kid was watching then.

The camera tech in casinos these days is very advanced. Also it has audio. Facial recog. Etc. If this guy is a frequent flyer there is going to be hundreds of hours of footage of him over the years.

Its not a matter which was simply kicked.

It was settled out of court for an undisclosed fee. There is a BIG difference.

Couple of WAPO articles describing some of his history on the strip...

“He was at the hotel for four months one time. It was like a second home.”

He recalled one time when the entire family took over the top floor of the Atlantis at the casino’s expense.

“He’s known. He’s a top player. He’s the small end of the big fish.”

Who is Stephen Baddock?

Who was Marilou Danley?

Imo, there are a lot of unreported details about the man, his life, connections, reasons behind this. A whole unopened can of worms, hopefully it won't get buried in the fake news being generated about multiple shooters, gun control and politics.

That would have been with my kids.

Thanks, I didn't know about the settlement. I just read in the early news articles that the lawsuit was dismissed. If there was a settlement out of court then the argument, that this was the reason for the shooting, becomes even less likely.

Yes I totally agree. His father's history also. I think the info being released about him reflects the current administrations great dislike for the media in that nothing is really coming out. I hope we eventually get the real story. Everyone always says multiple shooters. I do think maybe this was 2 shooters working together.maybe. Just the distance between the broken windows and 2 connecting rooms seems suspicious. In that he could have used 2 windows in the 1 suite a lot more easily it seems.

Tactically his procedure was well planned. The elevated position, the two windows on different sides of the building, different calibers, arms, and sweeping fires, even waiting for a song to begin, all contributed to disguising the source of the shots from the victims and authorities as long as possible, so that he could kill as many people as possible.

I honestly don't see how anyone can doubt multiple shooters at this point. I know most people here have to have seen the now multiple videos of the muzzle flashes from the 4th or 5th floor so assuming you have, what's your theory on that?

I've seen a pile of excuses regarding the obvious multiple weapons of multiple calibers as well. The most popular seems to be "acoustics" are responsible for making a .223 sound remarkably similar to a .308, not to mention overlapping simultaneous bursts of different durations. So what exactly is your take on that aspect?

I agree there's a lot of unknowns here. Too many. It honestly makes no sense right now. Maybe they hope to lure the girlfriend back with the usual "not a person of interest, just need to be questioned" bs only to let it go once they have her that she had everything to do with it. That doesn't mean, though, that this new "fake news" catchphrase applies to any of the other inexplicable things about this story so far

It's not muzzle flashes. See here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

All the video angle taken of those flashes visible on the tenth floor during the shooting show the flashes don't match the sound of shots and the window there is not broken out.
besides that, no other reports of residents or ay other agency report any other than the lone shooter.

You can call that a cover up if you like, but let me ask you, whats the point(s) of a hidden second shooter in this case?

These aren't excuses, takes familiarity with firearms to understand different aspects. Spent much time in a combat zone? How about a rifle range?

I have to admit I've wondered about the window aspect since seeing the video. I actually tried to avoid the taxi video, I've been going by several different videos from liveleak. Still, that's not enough to sway me away from looking at that as a distinct possibility. Not to mention that I sincerely believe there was more than one shooter.

One thing that bothers me with the people looking like hell for holes in the story, though: Why is it so hard to understand that this was a singular, 2 room suite? Plus why is breaking two windows supposed to be indicative of multiple shooters on the 32nd floor? That doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense. Maybe he had multiple preloaded rifles in two places; different angle without having to reload after taking a few steps. Maybe he considered the need for ventilation after 10 minutes of firing. Maybe he was bat#### insane and wanted to feel a nice breeze while he shot up a pile of innocent people. More than one person up there? Probably not.

Take a look at the photos from inside the room. It answers some of your questions and confirms some of your suspicions. There were weapons and ammo everywhere.

No, still sounds like excuses to me. I'm more than a bit familiar with rifles, yes. Combat? No. Couldn't get in. Rifles in general? Yep, if it's legal I've probably owned or do own one. Sorry, there's no way I can see that would make the things in the hours of video and audio I've sat through thus far possible unless there were random rifle noises being played through the speakers or something equally unlikely.
