it would be frighteningly easy to plan an event like this even with just a few evil boneheads. Seriously, you can get your education in these things if you just watch enough movies and it would not have taken any special training by anyone to pull it off.

here is a thought i had about his "girlfriend". Shes obviously foreign....hes an older white american. As someone who has both family and friends who have sought and even married foreign women after being burned out on american women i think its entirely possible that the attraction to something "foreign" could have been part of a larger personal journey the man was on. Hear me out on this.

I have also traveled widely, had many foreign friends and personally enjoy experiencing other cultures to the point of full immersion. When you immerse yourself in a culture with the intent of understanding it and even assuming its identity in order to fit in, it is remarkably easy for some people to shed or replace long held beliefs in favor of the new ones.

what im saying is people convert to other religions when they get married or date other people all of the time. People also modify their beliefs for friends or to fit in with groups.

Anything is possible here. And while i acknowledge peoples need for closure i think its reasonable to consider all possibilities with regard to motive and the players involved.

Actually, all plants have plant defense system chemicals. Most can be used as medicines for people. Now, if you take a medicine that is not right for you, it can have side effects. Look at the side effects from morphine and caffeine, both of those are plant defense system chemicals. The cannabinoids are also plant defense system chemicals so are the psychoactive chemicals in catnip, but catnip does not effect people much because most people make enough of the enzyme that breaks the chemicals down, cats dont. I said most people, if there is a problem with making the enzyme that breaks it down then they get a buzz.

About two months later, two of their six children got into a major car accident. The 19-year-old daughter who drove the car broke her ankle in several places, and her older sister smashed into the headrest in front of her and her face was so disfigured that she needed multiple plastic surgeries.

And no health insurance.

Why didn't God tell me to warn them not to get into that car instead? I don't know; I'm just the messenger and usually don't know what the heck I'm doing when delivering those messages. Maybe because everyone must learn their own lessons in life, and sometimes the hard way. But the aftermath could have been much less traumatic for the family if they had been insured.

That's the million dollar question, isn't it? People? Other more ethereal spookiness? It sounds like she was obviously upset by whatever she knew/saw/thought she saw.

Makes me think of "woo" things more than people, but it really is just the wording from one witness. There has to be other people who witnessed this. I hope other stories come out so we can piece it together a bit.

This may be far-fetched, but it reminds me of the stories of Mothman-type creatures and Shadow People, who always seem to be drawn to places where something bad is about to happen. Some paranormal investigators speculated that they might be drawn to and feed off negative energy and fear. So a major accumulation of fear and trauma could draw them like a magnet... and maybe there are some people who can see them "all around us." Just a wild guess.
