Sheye, the scented candles are awesome!
Oh, it must have been the lampshade on my head that made it dark. There, much better.

Welcome back Jacy! I rarely have problems with my computer, but when I do, it drives me crazy!

Hiya Tarzan! Thanks for the tune! Good for this Halloween month!

...love THAT song!

Hi Sheye, how are you doing tonight?

GEEZ!! My page froze as I was typing this response to you, so I had to re-start my laptop and go through the whole slow reboot thing. Just got back. If this doesn't 'send'...I will officially lose my mind. (officially)

I'm doing fine Jacy... ( despite the curve balls life can throw at you at times πŸ˜•)..thank you for asking ! Hope things are going ok for you despite those dang curveballs.

It's always a joy to see you in the Shed ... you have your own sort of spark that you bring into this place, and it is nice to read your posts.

LOL !!! I actually made a decorated lampshade hat with lights in it for a friends 60th last year. Unfortunately I got the flu, and couldn't make it... I'll have to give it to him this yearπŸ˜‰

What a sweet thing to say! Thank you so much! (Can we *hugs*?)
I try not to sound miserable EVERY time I pop in...people can only take so much because you're right, we're ALL getting curve balls thrown at us constantly.

I actually usually pep up once I start talking to someone in here. I hope the days of "too hurt/upset to speak" are over because that really is painful and makes my friends worry.

It really helps to chat to others who are dealing with issues because we understand each other. I find the support from Shed Family is better than therapy. (and the pixie-dust laced drinks don't hurt either)

*squishy hugs* It's been lovely getting to know you too! You definitely are Family, Sheye.

*hugs Night Star too* (Wish I wasn't too lazy to find that group hug gif that Marty's used before, it's perfect!)

I'm actually getting tired and just put a movie on. But I want to hang out here a little longer in case anyone else pops in for a drink or ten. If I don't respond I'm in computer hell again, or am asleep drooling on the keyboard.

Hi Blue ... thanks for the drink... it will go perfect with the frozen pizza I'm having for dinner. ( yes, I cooked it first )

With my back pain it's difficult to stand for any length of time, so I save preparing good healthy meals for Sunday dinners with family. Sometimes I even cheat on those and order in.

Thanks for the drink though. Want a slice of crappy frozen pizza ? Didn't think so .😏

So I come back to a possibly drooling Jacy, Blue the bartender and Sheye who has back problems like me and having dinner like me, only I had spaghetti and not pizza.

Hello everyone, or whoever is still here or popping in!

Frozen pizza is better than no pizza at all. I know how it feels to try to be a Martha Stewart in the kitchen but can only stand for so long, thanks to our messed up backs. That's how I learned that the best dinners to have were delivery pizzas.

I feel guilty of not popping in as much as I used to. With my meds, heart, and stress all I want to do is sleep. One day I'd like to have a functioning brain back again to join the shed world. Of course new glasses would help too.

I enjoy pasta more than frozen pizza ... but didn't have any pasta sauce or anything to make it with. I'm not the greatest cook anyhow , though I have pulled off a few good dishes over the years.

I find the easy way more appealing these days ( they have some great ready made salads in bags with dressing pouches that work just great for me) . By the time you buy all the ingredients for some of those types of salads it's more expensive anyhow... and being one person means you have to eat it everyday or toss it out.

I enjoy take out pizza Blue, and usually order the two for one , so I have left overs for a couple of days. I've definitely gotten lazier in my old age , and being alone means I can have Bran flakes for dinner, and left over pizza for breakfast if I want 😜. I love the freedom of living alone right now.

Blue, no problem. When I had my cancer that's all I wanted to do was sleep. Your body needs it right now. Pop in when you can and we will understand. Great seeing you when you do come in! HUGS!

Sheye, I think people with chronic pain know all the short cuts to doing just about anything. LOL

Gather 'round my dear Sheddites. I need to tell you all, those who know JustMike...that he and Dada are fine. I worry when I don't hear from a precious Sheddite/ATS family member. So now I can be in peace and so can you.

No matter who you are or where you are from, know that we share the same moon and sky. Look above and know I am always there with you, especially when you see the stars dancing...I could just be one of them. Winks and a hug.

Hello Chelsdh, please pardon my manners, I haven't greeted you properly as it is custom in The Shed.
I am not an "Old" member, a founder, only a couple years on my trail.
You have a female cat with "nervous wetting" I see. I had good results with a pheromone calming collar. On both cats.
Well I just wanted to say Welcome.

Thank you Night, please send them my best wishes and hopes for updates soon. And GIANT HUGS.

Cough, pardon me, I was certain when I saw the stars dancing it was due to sufficient amounts of Single malt and pixie dust.

Hey Jacy, nice to see you back around, we missed you! a reply to: jacygirl

hello, everyone else, and id like to share with you all a small story that I will create in just a moment... bear with me!

The clouds shift above the planet, roiling in the wind here, drifting peacefully over there. The clouds in accasia were special, because some of them, were alive! Lucid was falling into the world once more, and once again his heart rejoiced to find himself here. There was no fear of falling in him, no fear of hitting the ground. simply radiant wonder at the simple, all pervading majesty of this place. rich, deep colors and an even richer and deeper current of magical electricity, which the young warrior of the pen had known his whole life but never like he did while he was in this world where faeries giggled and dragons roared. He rejoiced in being in this world of fantasy that was his hearts home, andsimply watched the clouds drift about and take different shapes as he fell. He hit the ground with a great THUMP!! that shook all throughout the land and stood up slowly, dusting of his tattered suit. as the eye watched, however, his ruined clothes were already beginning to knit themselves together, just as his chaotic mind was beginning to order itself once more in the terms of magic and fantasy he truly belonged to, but was unable to find outside of his stories, or in the magical place he and others called home: Accasia, the world of The Shed.

As was usual, for him, he had landed nowhere near the shed, in a wild and remote portion of the vast world. He stood, watching wearily, as already creatures of dim surrounded him. He seemed to be a magnet for the evil beings that lurked in the corner of this world, they drew to him like flies, drawn to the flickering light that was his heart, fooled by the soft ndarkness that lurked their into thinking they coulkd make him their home. Their ignorance revealed their folly, for it was in direct opposition to them that this warrior found his true calling: in battling the evil and ignorance that tormented him and and every world. A soft light flickered in his heart, a deep, warm flame that would never die, and it flared to life, banishing the impurities of his mind as the creatures of destruction advance, and the invisible flame enveloped his entire body as his body instinctively tensed for the fight, and a shield of paper sprouted from his left hand, and in his right appeared a pen that when he clicked it(for young Lucid would ALWAYS click a pen in his hand, a detail which, in some stories, woud prove to be his downfall), sprouted into a sword.

As he stood there, spidery lines of black ink scuttled across the lines of his shield and marched down the length of his sword. His shield was writ with the mercy for the darkness, his hope that he should not have to be a destroyer but a redeemer, and his faith that light and truth would prevail; his sword was etched with his determination that darkness would NOT prevail, with the quiet acknowledgement of his strengths and gifts the powerful and complete opposition of his failings and corruption. He was ready, and unwittingly the creatures chose that moment to stop creeping forth and fling themselves fully into attack mode. He was simply there one moment, completely surrounded by creatures of vile darkness, with less than a hairs breadth between he and them; the next instant a great plume of dust rose violently through the creatures as he launched into a great flurry of movement: His shield protected him in a soft bubble and instantly destroyed a number of the dark beings that had a spark of light left in their cores by making that light explode completely and suddenly; the remainder of the beings fell to his sword, pushed back by his sheer ferocity. As he swept the last remnants of his enemies inky black remains from his blade, he heard a voice speak in accompaniment to a soft corus of applause, and he turned around in great excitement.

There you are young lady! I was hoping you would show up! Ahahaha, the single malt and pixie dust eh? Seems we've had our drinks with the pixie dust and it does strange and wonderful things. It does weird and unusual things too and we never know until we have those drinks what they will do. I suppose that is half the fun eh? Oh Lord, I've been hanging out with Jacy too long.

Oh and yes you are an old member of the Shed. You have been with us through enough Sheds now to be considered an old member. Ok, I'll stop calling you old now.

I see my Little Warrior has posted a story so I shall read that now. Yay!

Wonderful to see tonight oh Wise Woman of The Shed Lands! How are things in your world?
