What are you afraid might happen as a result if you are to reach out to her?
You say she has already "disconnected", are you worried you would push her further away?

Being a meddling uncle isn't the best title, but there are worse things.

If it were me, I'd reach out to her. But I am impulsive when it comes to things like that. I feel compelled to nurture and save others, and that hasn't always worked out well for me😕

Very good point. Very, very wise people here @ the shed. Thanks for fast responses, i really, really needed that.

The main storm hasn't hit yet... just the high winds building up at the front of it.
Seems like Ireland is getting hit today, so it will probably reach us here tonight or early tomorrow.



@Fin - As the others have already said, I imagine that you'll regret it if you don't get in touch with your GodDaughter to get to the bottom of this. I trust my own Instincts very much, and I have a feeling that you should too.
Either way, I think it would be better to try and talk to her - even if you opened with "We're worried about you" or something similar. At least she'll know that you care.

I just took a raging sauna. I usually just take it for pleasure and relaxation, this time it was just a nude man and gallons of sweat. Feeling purified and tired now. Water, resting and down-tempo music now.

Feeling great gratitude towards the Shed.

As a Godparent it would make me ask her gentle but realistic questions. It could be that the sketchy questioning was because she is embarrassed that she needs to ask for money. It could be drugs too. (Worst case scenario)

Hopefully honesty from both sides in a friendly setting will resolve the issue or at least provide some answers.

Good Luck to you and all of the Sheddites over there across the pond. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. (And that seems to be happening all to often these days) Mother Nature, God or whatever needs to cuts us humans some slack for a bit.

Fin, I absolutely agree with the others who say you should reach out to your Goddaughter and that you would regret if you didn't. Try to stay in touch after that if she allows it.

Gordi, I only looked up a couple of Chinese lantern vids. I don't think it was Chinese lanterns but can't rule anything out. These seemed to move more like they were controlled or manned or alien manned. LOL I'll talk to my friend tomorrow when we go out to see if she has any more info. It was just strange that after 59 years, it was the first time we ever saw anything like that. Of course first reaction was OMG aliens! Then I thought military. Still, seeing almost a dozen orange lights flying overhead was quite the experience and rather eerie, scary and fascinatingly beautiful all at the same time.

Blue, good luck today Hun!!!!! I look forward to hearing about the Doctor's visit. I have an appointment on Friday for some results.

Nothing outstanding, nice weather, no unexplained lights in the sky ( not this week ) a few great white shark sightings ... no swimming or fishing for me.

Have you checked with local airports to see if your ufo's showed up on radar or were reported by others ?

Local cop shop could also have some clues.
