*waves* Hi Lorrrrrrrrrii!!! Good to see you in here as well!

Other than the one song about us being crazy from Quiet Riot tonight. I've been on one of my familiar music kicks again. Only this time I've been binge listening to Doug Grey, Toy Caldwell, and the Marshall Tucker Band.

I'm supposed to take 3 per day at 300 mg. I usually take one, sometimes two for the nerve damage.

Airheads are good, I'll join your group.LOL

Did we scare the guys away?

Nah... guys don't scare away that easy ... do they?

Wow, that's going way back! I've heard that one before though! So...how old are you? Don't worry, a lot of us are older folks in here, youthful old folks. We like to nurture the child within. LOL

Ummm... I was 11 at the original Woodstock festival .. just kidding.. wasn't there. I had an older brother and sister who influenced my exposure to music , along with friends over the years who introduced me to other genres besides classic rock.

Ummm ... I told AM indirectly the cannibal jokes were lame. Oh.. and we got into it over a topic we disagreed on , and me not having a say cause I'm Canadian ( which he has a point ). Otherwise I think he can be adorably funny, and one of the most fun members on this site. I think beneath his wit and jovial jabs , lays a heart of gold.

But I get grumpy some days , and let my irritations get the best of me 😕.

... and I should have humoured you 😉

My ears are burning...and now I see why!...

... Being validated is really important to me right now. Somebody who will vouch for my character, or tell me I'm loved...that's the stuff that I need, so when I tell you that you're helping me, I mean it....

Jacy, here it comes! (Brace yourself!)

YOU are without a shadow of doubt, my favourite writer here on ATS.
YOU inspired ME to start writing creatively in a way that I hadn't done for many MANY years... probably EVER!
I LOVE our collaborations and we always seemed to be "on the same page" when it came to story lines etc. (I MISS that very much and we NEED to sort out our New One Soon!!!)
LOOK at how many Shed-folk now have writer status, since joining in with our stories... A HUGE part of that is down to YOU, because YOU started the storytelling proper in here.
HUGE hugs and THANK YOUs to YOU.

Gordi...The van is amazing! Now you just need to decide how much rent you want for it monthly, and I will be there Saturday.

ROFLMAO!!!! - You probably won't believe this but when I posted the pics of my van... I was actually going to say... "Maybe Jacy could borrow it for a while" (I even typed that in and then erased it!) but I chickened out as I didn't want to make light of your current situation!
Hey - If I was in Canada, or if you were here - the van would definitely be at your disposal. Absolutely.

Lastly, fine it's true. I once laughed so hard I snorted milk and a part of a Cheerio through my nose.

The Truth will Out!

* Pokes head in ... gets hit up side the head with a chunk of tofu ... wtf ?

Reads of Night's desire to paint things on the inside of Gordi's van ceiling ( did I see stirrups on the bulkhead ? )

Turns on heels ..
... exiting ... stage left ... leaving multiple ellipses in his wake.

Good Morning Shed family and lurkers!

Timely Dave, Sorry about the tofu. I'll try throwing a steak out next time.

Sheye, sorry I didn't get to say goodnight and just disappeared on you last night/early morning. I ended up on the phone and then got sleepy enough to actually sleep and well...dreamland was awaiting.

Hello Sir Gordi! Jacy will be beaming when she reads your post about her. I'm sure it will brighten her day.

Lags, we all know to keep vans away from Mason so no worries there.

Visaera the Green Pixie leaned back against the woody stem of the large rosebush beneath the great oak tree in a quiet green meadow of the Shed. She wondered briefly if Shepherd had been lost. She missed him, but knew his travels delayed him from coming. He was probably out slaying demons or rescuing some damsel in distress. Or maybe just tending sheep and drinking beer. She shrugged, starting to feel quite sleepy.

Dusk was falling fast. There would be many denizens of the Shed gathering on the back porch or the dining areas soon. Each one was different, and there were as many as a person could imagine. Her favorite was a quiet room with a cheerful fire, soft leather recliners, chairs, and couches all in a circle around the fireplace, and a small buffet server with all of her favorite libations. And chocolate. And caramel.

It had shelves and shelves of books, and a pipe smoldering gently with delicious-smelling tobacco that no one ever smoked, just enjoyed the scent of like incense. The window was clear, crossed with a simple lattice, and outside the moon shone brightly on a bed of new snow, still falling in large flakes.

It was a room for sipping in warmth and comfort, with good friends and family. It was a room for 'together', and in her heart it was the Shed, it exemplified the Shed.

The leaves of the rosebush above her were beginning to change with the seasons, starting to yellow and some even fall. It would not be long now before the chill in the air made her seek the inside. She hoped Shepherd would find his way home before the first frost.

Her eyelids grew heavy, and she dozed.

She had a strange sensation of floating, but she felt peace and contentment. The chill of the evening was gone, and she snuggled into a thick wool blanket that smelled like an old friend and happy memories. She rested her head in the soft, downy fibers, feeling as though she were rocking gently on waves.

A deep, kind voice echoed in her dreams. "Good night, Visaera Ellente. I've come home."

Hello.

Failed again. This time it felt too bad. I left my bank card, my internet banking codes and my ID and my phone at a friends place because i don't need them anymore. I am not anyone anymore. I wish to just leave this realm which was not actually that bad but i made myself this place a bad place.

You shed people, get through this life better than me.

I am a failure.

Here and there.

Actually, it has been a particularly challenging time at work and at home. Deadlines, extra work and hours. Then pretty much all of the Shepherd family has been sick going on a week and a half now.
Nasty, Nasty cold. And that was after all of us being sick 3 weeks ago with a different cold!

That's most of it. But I'm coming out of the sickness now and hopefully work will ease up a bit.

How are you doing? I see there has been a Jacy sighting!
(*waves* at jacy, assuming she is in the bushes lurking.)
