Greetings folks.

It is Mrs Lags Birthday next week but unfortunately I will be away in another country far far away for a couple of days so Lags Junior and I have decided to offer my wonderful second half and the bestest bestest ever mum a son can ever have a surprise birthday gift tomorrow which is this little feller :

He is going to join our family of Mrs Lags, myself and Lags junior as well as our 4 other dogs and two cats n fish n stuff.

Mrs Lags has always dreamed of a boxer but is open to a Lab as we already have one... At the moment no Boxer litters are available over here until at least beginning of November.

This little guy is a pedigree Lab but unfortunately the "runt" of the pack as he has a slight Prognathism issue, meaning (in his case) that his lower jaw is a VERY tiny little bit more pronounced forward than his upper jaw. The common name is overshot jaw.

All the other pups in the litter were purchased apart from this little guy. (sickening how snobbish some people can be...) We want him as family and not as a breeder...

We, (Lags Jr and I), fell in love with the little guy and decided that he needs a good home and family.

We think that Mrs Lags is just going to fall in love when we take her blindfolded off tomorrow morning to pick him up.

So in the end... Mrs Lags is going to get all the features of A Boxers jaw plus the Lab... and maybe at the same time he might want to join me next year during the duck hunting season!?

Question to all you wise and/or strange people out there :

Over here in France... each year corresponds to a letter in the Alphabet for dog or cats births (not obligatory though) and this year the letter is "N"

All suggestions of names beginning with "N" will be seriously considered (even daft/strange ones) and I will let you all know what his final name will be.

A two syllable name would be ideal as easier for the dog to "understand". (I'm a vet don't forget)... and a poet apparently!

For the moment I have a brain block issue and the only name I can think of is "NOOPY"

Warmest

Lags

I was thinking about "Nipple" but not sure Mrs Lags would agree!

In a way I am glad that he is not a chocolate Lab as some people here would have come out, (if they could get away with it, with unsavoury names...)

I once had a budgie called "Slug"... don't ask me why... long story

Call him Nano. You can put the acute accent on the last syllable and make it sound as a French name.

I was actually thinking of "Dinner" for Christmas as he still has his puppy fat on him but that does not begin with "N"

I'm not sure how Nanoé is pronounced in French. Maybe you can write it down Naneau.
