Actually, it can be an important factor in determining whether to rent or buy.

That was kind of my point. If you're going to be dependent on that deduction to be able to afford to buy that home you either need to rent or look at a lower price range for homes.

Phage , Mort = Death, Gauge = Grip. So it's holding you in it's "Death Grip". So yes, renting makes a lot of sense for people following their dreams!

It's one of the reasons I buy instead of renting. While I'm sure there are people that don't think about it you can't tell me there aren't millions who do.
