You say Trump haters as if that phrase describes everyone who dislikes Trump at once, but it does not.

There is no military solution which is remotely acceptable, to the North Korean situation, since any such solution would without doubt prove more damaging to its citizenry than its military, who are the main problem. Absolutely NO nuclear option has any merit here what so ever, and the only options remaining are diplomatic, which would have required a nuanced, sophisticated approach, from someone well versed in the specifics of the history of Korea entire, both North and South.

He said psycopaths tend to have high IQ's which is not the same as saying all people with high IQ's are psycopaths.

It doesn't take a genius to see what he implied with his reply either.

Can't say I'm bothered by trident or NATO training for limited missile defence in case of loons that won't be deterred. Having grown up on the clyde through the 70s/80s cold war this is in no way comparable in level of worry to then.

If I was Japanese or South Korean I'd disagree, the threat to them is greater than at any time in memory.

This only ends peacefully with nk becoming a recognised nuclear power and Japan and South Korea becoming nuclear states that can independently deter NK. It's a terrible outcome but I don't see a credible less terrible one.
