Twice today I tried to log into ATS from FFox.

Both times I 'got' the incredible infuriating and bothersome 'FireFox' crucial flash up with the red box and the earsplitting alarm that I'd recieveid the ultimate 'you've got a virus and call this number with you name and password' crap.

I had to uninstall FF, install it again and go through the process of going to FF 'config' etc.

WHY please does this happen, only when I went to ATS from FF today?

Twice?

I know how to 'fix it' now and I will add info on how to do it if anyone is interested.

But why did it happen only when I tried to go to ATS?

peace

I've never seen anything like that on any browser.

I'm using the latest version of FF, on Win7 64-bit.
Also use Malwarebytes and Webroot AV.

Actually, I don't have a username and password for FF....so why would they ask? Sounds suspiciously like it was not FF doing it.....
A red box like this
www.enigmasoftware.com...

Sounds like adware
malwaretips.com...

Or malware
support.mozilla.org...

sounds like an ad had malware in it, not uncommon, it is the reason adblockers are good for security, though ats doesnt allow them here.

try waterfox, i find it works much better then firefox.

I like SuperAntiSpyware for pests like this. It also finds and clears all of your accumulated tracking cookies, which if run frequently enough, you will rarely get anything bad popping up like that.

Aye, that doesn't sound like a firefox feature. That sounds like you've got malware.
