Just when you think you can't read something that will shock you about NK L'il Kim ups the ante. In today's Sun:

North Korean crackpot Kim Jong Un appears to have stolen a page out of the ISIS execution manual.

A North Korean defector, whose father was a senior official in the hermit country’s regime, told the UK Mirror that she watched 11 musicians get “blown to bits” when they were executed with high powered anti-aircraft guns. The gruesome deaths, watched by 10,000 North Koreans, were ordered by Kim soon after he took over for his late father, Kim Jong-Il.

www.torontosun.com...

It gets more graphic so if you have a delicate constitution or just don't want/need to know don't click the link. I know that killed is killed but the manner of execution that these people were subjected to, as well as the North Koreans who were probably ordered to watch, is beyond insane. Kim makes Dahmer, Gacy, Manson, etc look sane.

Well if you've got to die at the hands of your leader, I suppose it's a better way to go than slowly and with torture.
That's all I've really got to say.

I hear he turns into Dracula after he eats babies at midnight..
and he has the prettiest school girls in the country he uses as sex slaves and feed him caviar while he is levitating on an anti gravity chaise-long powered by decapitated heads and human hearts of his generals in a hidden palace built from blown up bones of his critics killed by anti aircraft gun and improvised bazooka weapons is totally disgusting.

what a mentalist.

I wonder how their propaganda of the west sounds like..

Lets just kill him.

If NK wants to get another crazy leader.

Kill him too.

But, to kill millions of innocent people is just dumb.

I venture to say it's none of America's business.

Contrary to popular belief, America is not perfect, and we Americans (imo) should be more concerned with our nation than others.

We're not the world police.

That's nothing.

When young women and girls are imprisoned they are repeatedly raped until they are too pregnant then they are executed and the fetuses are ripped out and fed to the guard dogs. So they basically rape women to make dog food.

Female prisoners in North Korean camps raped and executed, their babies fed to dogs, report says

Thankfully the U.S. and China are really ramping up the punishments for Kim Jong, starting today.

www.independent.co.uk...

The China sanctions especially, are brutal for Kim Jong.

He is not insane, fear can be a very powerful tool and weapon. He lack morals and is a sadist, but I'm very sure he is quite sane.

If you can't make them love you, make them fear you.

Infinitely better to go this way than torture.

Is there any way to verify any of this? It reminds me of the "Nayirah testimony" which helped get us to fight the first Gulf War. Of course, that testimony later turned out to be completely false.

ETA: From the wiki link:

The Nayirah testimony was a false testimony given before the Congressional Human Rights Caucus on October 10, 1990 by a 15-year-old girl who provided only her first name, Nayirah. The testimony was widely publicized, and was cited numerous times by United States senators and President George H. W. Bush in their rationale to back Kuwait in the Gulf War. In 1992, it was revealed that Nayirah's last name was al-Ṣabaḥ (Arabic: نيره الصباح‎‎) and that she was the daughter of Saud Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States. Furthermore, it was revealed that her testimony was organized as part of the Citizens for a Free Kuwait public relations campaign which was run by American Hill & Knowlton for the Kuwaiti government. Following this, al-Sabah's testimony has come to be regarded as a classic example of modern atrocity propaganda.

ETA2: Just realized there's a whole term for this, called "atrocity propaganda". There are a lot of links about different instances of it, which you can easily find for yourself.

Thank you.
I was thinking the same thing.
No doubt NK is an issue, and really shouldn't be a nuclear power.
Regime needs to be checked, hard.

But reading this reminded me of babies being thrown in the air and bayonetted as they came down during Iraq pt 1.

With this willy nilly killing of NK's one would think they would have a population problem . I would also think that they probably wouldn't have prisons too because you have to feed them . The US seems to be OK with Drone bombing wedding parties or even funeral's in other countries . Maybe NK is good at making movies that look real . The White Helmets in Syria do that kind of production and sometimes use real people and even real kids ... some sick stuff going on around the world and its not just NK ...just saying

Not to mention that this is all coming from a defector. In order to get status as a refugee in a host nation, asylum seekers usually have to prove that they're in danger back at home (or something to that effect). In other words, it gives people an incentive to exaggerate.

I'm not saying this is the case here, but I think it's ridiculous to base our military responses on the unsubstantiated claims of a single person.

When my government stops experimenting on citizens, imprisoning dissidents, murdering whistle blowers, raping children and routinely sacrificing our bravest young people on the altar of corporate greed through insane wars...I'll happily point fingers at other regimes and root for us to intervene as vanguards of righteousness.

Until then is just what they do to momentarily distract us from their own madness.

But there's not a single claim. Here's another one:
www.koreatimes.co.kr - Disabled in North Korea killed at birth...

At a seminar hosted by the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights (NKDB), an NGO based in Seoul, it was revealed that people with disabilities in North Korea are killed at birth, often by their parents, or sent for use in medical experiments at universities or "Hospital 83."

The NKDB conducted comprehensive interviews with 100 defectors who lived in North Korea between 2010 and 2014 for the report on the monitoring of North Korea's implementation on United Nations Universal Periodic Review's recommendations.
