More Conservatives, Liberals, or Nationalists?

Hi, I'm currently attending a US government course in college and I'm writing about whether the US is more conservative, liberal, or nationalist. I need several supporting deatails to proove my conclusion. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
