Basically, it's just internet trolling. And a good way to tell if someone has something worth saying, by seeing if they use the phrase or not.

Yeah, but the ironic thing is ... that these terms triggered, snowflake, safe space, etc. have now become part-and-parcel of Political Correctness on the "right-wing" side.

They don't even have any meaning.

The terms were definitely hijacked, but they had ridiculous meanings for the past few years before that too. They've always meant a bunch of nonsense when thrown around though.

Myself, I don't care so much about someone's educational level. I care about their ability to think rationally and their relative honesty level.

SPEECH patterns are CONSTANT as are colloquial terms on MOST members who ARE liars,or believe in lies.

I've used the word once here in an ironic context, in that it was directed at one of the members here who liked to abuse the term, along with constant inflammatory content and needless, repetitive thread making about said inflammatory content. Needless to say, it finally pissed me off to the point that i felt i should do something.

Some times people need a dose of their own medicine, Hammurabi style, to learn.

I tend to think that following the golden rule, with an ocassional dash of Hammurabi and utilitarianism, is a fairly good way to be.

But your OP is absolutely spot on. The bullying tactics are elemenatary school yard bs.

I'm glad somebody finally made this thread. The absurdity involved with the way conservatives use this word is mind blowing. They basically use it as an excuse to avoid liability for being abusive. They do it to flip the blame onto the person that called out their behavior, by insinuating that they are just angry and emotional, it's a total red herring. They think they can act racist, break the rules, cheat the system, and treat people like crap, and anytime somebody calls them out, they just say you are triggered. It's laughably stupid. Snowflake is another one. They paint liberals as super easily offended, yet they are offended by some of the stupidest crap imaginable. It's comical. They are the biggest hypocrites.

Theres a reason rational skeptics have mass audiences online while sjws scant. Why mass online censorship has had to be deployed.

From doxxing to outright lying to censoring with threats of violence speech which disagrees with them.
