Oil Depletion?

Oil depletion seems to be a constant topic in the media. The oil companies remain tight lipped, but those on the fringe say oil has, or is about to peak. Production can be raised at considerable cost, but this will only increase the rate of depletion.

In contrast to this pessimistic outlook, others claim the "oil running out stories" are part of a NWO plan to encourage population reduction.
