I know the pilots have discussed this before, but someone illegally shot video of the action. Not much to add, just thought this was interesting.

This has to be a big no no, some heads are going to roll for sure!!

He he.. don't fret just yet. Unfortunately we lost a pilot last week flying an exotic aircraft in Nevada last week. No details other than the pilots name. And that info may have not gotten out for 3 days.

This is the war in the ME Theatre... I'm sure a lot has happened that has not gotten out yet. But it's war/conflict. It won't matter who gets mud flung at them.

The Media show the US winning??? Never happen unless they were dragged kicking and screaming.

Technically it could be released, as it's marked unclassified, and it certainly doesn't give anything away.

They have multiple aircraft on site, including ISR in the area.

May not be classified but damn, looks like a 3-star and instead of paying attention you're recording # with your phone? I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that ass-chewing if he got caught.

Oh, I completely agree with that part, but honestly, that's probably all they could do is chew on him pretty hard, and maybe give him an LOC or LOR into his record.

Yeah that's pretty much all I was getting at. Disrespecting the general like that is a bigger deal than the content of the video, IMO.

Cool find. It could use some narration though. The first 7 seconds the Mig is flying one direction, then the video cuts and it appears to be flying another direction. Is this simply later in the encounter or were they taken from different aicraft/vantage points?

Not sure if these are dumb questions but I was just a fuels guy haha I'm not used to seeing stuff like this.
