I am sick to the back teeth of Islamic extremism and the 'peaceful' Muslims that shift the blame

Obsessing over this issue to no end, is not healthy.

They aren't going anywhere.

Yes I do obsess over it when its on my doorstep. On my family and friends doorstep.

'They aren't going anywhere'. The attitude of somebody who is prepared to sit back and allow this.

I have had enough and so have others in my community and before long I can see a rebellion coming in a big way, and when it does come I won't be just 'obsessing' over it, I'll be with the thousands sorting it.

This is just as ridiculous as me saying "I am sick of Christians committing crimes and non-criminal Christians saying not to blame all Christians for those crimes. Why don't you non-criminal Christians rein in your Christian brothers?".

News flash: Islam is the second largest religion in the world with 1.6 billion to 1.8 billion adherents. So yeah, there are going to be criminal Muslims, violent Muslims, misogynist Muslims, suicidal Muslims, etc. How do you expect nonviolent Muslims to "rein them in"? That's like asking non-violent Christians to "rein in" organized crime rings & street gangs that are largely composed of Christians. Some of us only "deflect" because you're making an absurd demand.

But here's the thing, Muslims "rein in" criminals the same way other demographics do. Muslim majority countries have law enforcement agencies, judicial systems, and armies which oppose those Muslim criminals every day. There are also programs to dissuade people from joining those groups and/or becoming radicalized, just like the "anti-gang" programs in the US. Ironically, a lot of people actually say the jails in Muslim majority countries are too harsh, don't respect human rights, etc. And guess who's filling those jails? Muslim criminals! So are we being too hard on Muslim criminals or too easy on them? Make up your minds.

And Muslims in non-Muslim majority countries deal with Muslim "bad guys" the same way other demographics deal with the "bad guys" in their communities; by going to the police. Or are we supposed to be ignoring all of the co-operative programs that Muslim communities have with law enforcement in western countries? Why else do you think so many extremists in Western countries are already known to the FBI & other law enforcement groups? Time & time again, Muslim suspects are known to law enforcement because their families and community members snitched on them. Do we get any credit for that? Nope.

So many people like you sound as if you expect the "peaceful" Muslims to take up arms to physically fight against Muslim extremists. But why? How do you expect normal Muslims who have no military training to fight against ISIS, Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, Boko Haram, and Al Shabaab? Those groups are true paramilitary groups and are armed to the teeth. If the most powerful militaries in the world are having a hard time fighting them, then wtf can pacifist Muslims like myself do against them with a single glock & no military training? And on the other hand, do you really want the pacifist Muslims to suddenly take up military training and decide that it's ok to fight those who we disagree with? Did you think that through?

And here's the real kick: There are plenty of Muslims who are fighting against those groups right now. In fact, there are plenty of highly trained & heavily armed organizations that do this. The Syrian Army, Hezbollah, the Iranians, the Iraqi Army, the Kurdish militants, the Chechen military, the Somalian Army, the Egyptian Army, the Chad Army, etc are all Muslim-majority military forces that are fighting against those criminal Muslim extremists as we speak. But those Muslims never get any credit for it in the context of your argument. And take a guess what would happen to me if I left the US and decided to join a group like the Syrian Army or Hezbollah in order to "rein in" those criminal Muslims?

The problem a lot of people here have is they expect an "all or nothing" approach. Either we oppose them the way you want us to oppose them or you consider us sympathizers. But like I've already noted, that's simply an absurd demand. I oppose those groups the same way I oppose the Mob, Mafia, Yakuza, and gangs: I don't enable them, don't buy their products, and I speak out against their actions. Or will it only count if I take up arms to go fight the Sinoloa cartel?

You're out of your mind if you think I'm going to go hop a flight to Mogadishu to go personally "rein in" Al Shabaab. And I'd love to hear some realistic ideas on how to "rein in" people who may commit a crime. Then again, people here can't even stop random citizens from robbing a bank, shooting up a party or school, or committing arson. So how can you give me tips on how to stop people from committing crimes when you can't do it, either?

Exactly what are you doing to rein in white supremacists?? Or gang violence?? Or saving the whales???

Nothing except going online to complain..

Mainly because if you plan on paying the rent and getting the kids to school . That's all you have time for..

Only terrorists are responsible for the actions of terrorists..

I've been criticized in the past for saying this, but I'll say it again anyway.

You'll never get the community to rout out the extremists.

So when we catch the extremists, we should take them to trial and if they are found guilty. . . publically execute the bastards.

I can't think of a more effective way than this to let people know to disregard what you have said. Bravo.

I'm sorry I hurt your sensibilities. Let me try again so maybe this time you will concentrate on the right part of the message instead of attacking the messenger:

The US dropped 23,000 bombs on five predominately Muslim countries in 2015. 28,000 in 2016. 2017 will be a new record.

I think they hates us not because of NFL football, apple pie, or too much sex on TV. I think they hates because we've bombed the effin Shiite out of them!

Look at the photo of the guy in this article. He's where the radicals are coming from!

More than 200 civilians killed in suspected U.S. airstrike in Iraq

The guy pictured in the article his pregnant wife was killed.

...open toed sandal mob...To come into this thread and defend them!

I don't defend them, but I try to understand them.

The basic problem is that Islam sees itself as the final and best expression of submission to Allah. Once Islam becomes the official religion of a country then no backsliding should go unpunished. Backsliding goes by the word Jahiliyyah

(Arabic: جاهلية‎‎ ..."ignorance") is an Islamic concept of the period of time and state of affairs in Arabia before the advent of Islam. It is often translated as the "Age of Ignorance". The term jahiliyyah is derived from the verbal root jahala "to be ignorant or stupid, to act stupidly". In modern times various Islamic thinkers have used the term to criticize what they saw as un-Islamic nature of public and private life in the Muslim world. In current use, Jahiliyyah refers to secular modernity, as in the work of Abul A'la Maududi, who viewed modernity as the “new jahiliyyah.” Sayyid Qutb viewed jahiliyyah as a state of domination of humans over humans, as opposed to their submission to God. Radical groups have justified armed struggle against secular regimes as a jihad against jahiliyyah.

Any country that wants to avoid punishment, by political assassination or mass civilian deaths, for jahiliyyah should either declare itself an explicitly secular state or declare itself the State of a God or Goddess or Pantheon (not Allah). That would amount to saying to the Muslims:

"This is a country in ignorance which cannot slide back into ignorance, therefore we advance through human knowledge and technology and political science. If you do not want what we have, then stay away. If we catch your Islamic countries attempting to "enlighten" us, we will cut off trade. If private NGOs attempt it, we will dissolve or expel. If private foreign individuals attempt it, they shall be deported. If private citizens attempt it then we will recognize their right of free expression. After all, just because we are ignorant doesn't mean we are savages."

I carefully drew the line just short of anti-proselytizing laws.

Take no offence to this OP but you simply don't understand what the game is, if you think they are going to stop because of your whinge then you are sadly mistaken. Watch Bill Warner on you-tube and you might understand we are up against a battle of immense proportions, these radical Muslims are not going away and in fact until you accept their laws, views and religion you will be jihad'd into submission. You will either submit or be subjected to their wrath!

The Middle East not always Islamic, but it is now. Countries like Spain and France are the latest casualties in submission with Germany under siege and the UK in their sights as well. Where I live in the Southwest Corner of Western Australia there is very little Islamic influence unlike the east coast but I can see it starting. Islam has been chosen as the World religion so either like it and get out of the way or fight it.

Still won't stop it. Most of the time, the perps end up dying in the process.

Now ... if you rounded up everyone who belonged to the perp's social circles ... and tossed them out of the country (with the chance of re-applying for entrance ... this one time) ... that would probably get some damned attention 'in the community'. People would be damned particular about who they let come to Mosque.

What an interesting point of view LOL. To stay on-topic, I'd have to give the Muslim's credit for figuring this out most of the way. I'm sure you and your female family members would be 100% fine living under Sharia Law.

Deflection and a non sequitur. While rapists are absolute scum, they don't indoctrinate their young to kill non rapists because of a dusty fabricated book. Next.

I don't think you understand what the game is:

When viewed in the current context, the war on Iraq, the 2006 war on Lebanon, the 2011 war on Libya, the ongoing wars on Syria and Iraq, the war on Yemen, the process of regime change in Egypt, must be understood in relation to the Zionist Plan for the Middle East.

The latter consists in weakening and eventually fracturing neighboring Arab states as part of an Israeli expansionist project.

Bear in mind this design is not strictly a Zionist Plan, it is an integral part of US foreign policy, namely Washington’s intent to fracture and balkanize the Middle East.

“Greater Israel” consists in an area extending from the Nile Valley to the Euphrates. According to Stephen Lendman, “A near-century ago, the World Zionist Organization’s plan for a Jewish state

What is American policy in the middle east?

“[The Yinon plan] is an Israeli strategic plan to ensure Israeli regional superiority. It insists and stipulates that Israel must reconfigure its geo-political environment through the balkanization of the surrounding Arab states into smaller and weaker states.

Israeli strategists viewed Iraq as their biggest strategic challenge from an Arab state. This is why Iraq was outlined as the centerpiece to the balkanization of the Middle East and the Arab World. In Iraq, on the basis of the concepts of the Yinon Plan, Israeli strategists have called for the division of Iraq into a Kurdish state and two Arab states, one for Shiite Muslims and the other for Sunni Muslims. The first step towards establishing this was a war between Iraq and Iran, which the Yinon Plan discusses.

The Atlantic, in 2008, and the U.S. military’s Armed Forces Journal, in 2006, both published widely circulated maps that closely followed the outline of the Yinon Plan. Aside from a divided Iraq, which the Biden Plan also calls for, the Yinon Plan calls for a divided Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria. The partitioning of Iran, Turkey, Somalia, and Pakistan also all fall into line with these views. The Yinon Plan also calls for dissolution in North Africa and forecasts it as starting from Egypt and then spilling over into Sudan, Libya, and the rest of the region.
