Oh, and the part of treating all republicans alike. Well, let me give you this analogy. What if I said that,"I am not racist or Anti-semitic." But I am a junior member of the Nation of Islam. Would you believe me? Would there be a slight hint of doubt?

So, too with republicans.

You can not equate a religous organization with a political one. One relies on a salient belief and requires firm belief in a doctrine that is limited in variance. While the other allows some freedom of dissent with out upheaval. Some Republicans have moderate views on socialism and still fall under the tent. Try ordaining a gay minister and here comes the uprising.

One is spitual, one is not.....you argue apples and oranges alo t man.

"Anger instills no victories"......

Since you brought up the 'world', how about this:

"Do Foreigners really hate us ---- or is it just the pollsters?"
www.opinionjournal.com...

Btw, these are no more 'biased' then your article(s) were and are.

Yadda, Yadda Yadda. Do you have Barbara Striesands cd collection at home??

How can we be more vulnerable to terrorism now?.....no buildings have been blown up lately?? Are we not vigilant to a fault (at least trying to be?).

I for one have not laid economies solely at the feet of sitting presidents. The economy runs in cylcles over years-congressional bodies have more to do with economies than presidents. Presidents form policy that is tinkered with by congress that affects the next lucky(unlucky)soul in office.......you are never gonna win your argument against Republicans( *?* ) by throwing out snippets of half truths, even if you have toned down your anger meter.

Since the skinning of the Soviet empire, America has inherited the mantle of global cop and king of the hill , so to say. We will be hated/disliked by many and loved by many who ofttimes dislike us...I think that is the dynamic of the geo-political world now. Is it troubling-yes. Do we let it paralyze us-NO.

Interesting that the rightwing article seems to target Midlde Easterners who have grown up in Anti-Americanism. But, no, I am speaking of the Europeans, the Aussies, the S. Koreans, and the like. They hate this new presidency and the administration mindset. SO, yes, the world is against this "repugnant party."

Maybe you could be Al Sharpie's running mate?

You know, I did not report you to admin. on ATS, yet I wonder, as you sit comfortably bhind the skirt of your PC, if your mouth could back up the drivel you spew?

In your limited view of the world; that being: Democrats=good (for blacks only in you book) Republicans=bad for blacks only.
It seems when pressed for real emperical information, you, as those like you must when faced with lacking resources, resort to petty tirades, insults and other trite diatribes of dubious, argumentative worth.

Anyways, Alan Keyes has more sack than any of the present piecemeal outfit of Media-crats your party has today. Maybe Hitlary will save you.

The "Colonel's explicitive, one that is offensive to anybody with decency, has been deleted, touchy-touchy. Can't even take a joke. (Hence the laughing smiley). But, yes I can back it up, if you must know. But one question.

Alan Keyes embodies everything the republican party stands for to a "T". So, why didn't any of the republicans vote for him in his presidential bid---even invite him as vice pres?

Alan Keyes is not a politician, plain and simple. He actually did what the vote-counters could'nt/were afraid to do- tell it like it is and be damned the rest.

Also, your shuck and jive shat reflects your mindset more than you can imagine.

You may not care, but I respect your tenacity in debate. I do not however hold you in high esteem as a individual.

Bein's I'm just a repugnant white republican girl who may be inclined to misreading your statements, can you please clarify what you meant in your statements to Tyriffic when using:

"shuck and jive"???

Because right now, I'm having a REALLY low opinion of you. Maybe you can help clear that up.

Guest, my guess is this and a couple of more threads began by The Colonel are nothing more than play by play recruitment techniques. See I've seen two kinds of people that frequent ATS; there are those here to learn and share ideas who are open-minded and seek the help of other like-minded people in gaining insight to the various topics. Then there are pundits who copy and paste the same old rhetoric time after time in hopes that if their "facts" are presented often enough reguardless of validity, they will be accepted eventually by the masses. You may notice if you frequent the other subtopics that this is the Colonel's main interest. He doesn't acknowledge any difference of opinion from his own and turns a blind eye to any event, idea, ect.. that doesn't mesh well with his vision of things. Its a narrow viewpoint and one that must be in order to retain any validity.

Its my opinion (and only mine) that its useless to argue with this type of individual as they have an arsenal of what I could only call propaganda that is expertly written to sound truthfull and may even contain truthful points but largely lead one astray of the reality or skew the truth in a context in which it doesn't belong. Now, I'm not in the opposing political party from the Colonel but I recognize the drivel that I was given to spew for years before I began to question it's one-sidedness.

In reality, there are good and bad points about both parties. I'm sorry to admit that my party seems lost in its ideology lately and has pulled so far left of mainstream America and its best interests. I don't fault Colonel for his rantings, at least he isn't anti-American and seems to care a great deal for his country even though his hate for the opposing party seems his guiding light at the moment. I just have a different vision than he and its probably largely based upon our life experiences and environment.

So, in a long round about way, to answer your question, yes its just the same old political head-butting that has been the norm for years in this and every other country in the world. Two or more different views of what this country should be.

Of course, it meant exactly what I wrote but was intended as a joke. Hell, if you guys were around back in the day, Don Rickles would be out of a job. (I saw him at Cesears too and he's real racist and real funny too)

Now, as to your low opinion of me as you sit there "Hollier than thou," could you explain the split in ideology where you support equality while the leaders you align and identify with think differrently as I have mentioned below?

"Well, of course the republican party won't say, "Look at me, I'm a racist." But you have to look at their actions. We all know about Trent Lott so I won't go over that. Next, we have John Ashcroft who had did a little extensive piece in the Southern Partisan, an openly white supremist magazine. Then, we have every republican who wants to be somebody speaking at Bob Jones University, a blatantly racist university. Then, of course, there is the race issue in Florida elections.

I dunno, these things don't give any real reason to have ANY love for republicans, cut them any slack, or give them the benefit of the doubt."

( Like that? Tough one, eh? Don't worry. I got a lot more.)

Let us not forget Robert Byrd and Fritz Hollings ..both of whom have an undying love for African Americans...as long as they can still own one. Like I said there's no one party untainted by any social, financial, or moral injustice.

Thats a swell idea there guest. Problem with "riding that fence" is when you fall of that 'political bike', you end up busting your b@lls on that same fence that your riding on. Question is not "is this going anywhere?". Question should be do you have any imput to the discussion besides stating the obvious and that was nothing maybe?

just saw this post, and read the first 2 pages, then threw up all over my computer. I just have this to say; Colonel, you are an F-ing muppet. It appears you are verbally challenged, but at the same time you show an expertese in the art of verbal garbage. Shouldn't you be sitting in your trolish basement writing hate mail to Matt Drudge?
