How Not to Land Your Plane

You should definitely not land in a tree , only birds do that.


The 79-year-old pilot , believed not to be Harrison Ford , was taken to hospital with only minor injuries after the unfortunate landing in Connecticut USA.

Saw this on the news earlier. That guy should buy a lottery ticket they said.

A real live "Tree Top" flyover.

And I think the tree is going to be alright too.

It certainly trimmed the tree, but as a method I wouldn't recommend it.

Good job he crashed into that tree, otherwise he might have hit the ground. Can't wait to see his Christmas tree this year. I bet his relatives put little model airplanes hanging from the branches

What a fantastic landing landing he banked to the left at just the right moment. My father had a little j-3 piper cub and one of his friends took the plane off up hill against the wind with predictable results.Dad put a little plaque on the dash " Uphill takeoffs prohibited"

That could have gone much worse. He pivoted around the tree hitting at just the right angle and just the right speed that the impact was relatively mild--had any one of those factors been off, he could have been facing a week or two in the ward, or worse.
