Hole in clouds, anyone know what this is?

A friend of mine showed me a video this morning on her phone that was posted to her facebook page. It seemed like the original as the videographer was talking. The version she showed me was sharper and pretty clear. Could be that i was watching it on a smaller screen.

I came home to look for it but only found this version on youtube (I dont have Facebook).
The usual crappy music replaced the original audio.
I never saw anything like it. Could be CGI, but whatever it is, it looks really cool.
Anyone know what it is?

Can you ask your friend for the link to the original video. The youtube one you linked to is a video of a computer screen playing the facebook video.

Looks like a fall streak hole, it's a large gap, usually circular or elliptical, that can appear in cirrocumulus or altocumulus clouds.

What about hole punch clouds with blue lights (cloud lasers 😂) flying around them.

Definitely hole punch clouds, I posted this before but you might enjoy it.

Are there any installation of greenhouses, polytunnels or lakes nearby that have those shapes?

In one of the cities I used to live in, I would make timelapse movies of the clouds. Once of the strangest things was to see this diamond shape move across the clouds. I could see the clouds evaporating on one side, and condensing on the other. The strange thing was that it would move in the opposite direction of the Sun.

I checked my map, and there was a large square greenhouse halfway between my house and that arc in the sky. Taking a bus one day I was blasted by the heat from the reflective windows of that greenhouse.

Yeah thanks! I can accept that explination for the holes on the clouds.
It the lights going around it thats got my curiosity.

I dont know about piss poor as im not a cgi expert, although i`ve dabbled it it a little.
But yeah that was my first thought. CGI on natural occurence.

So, why are those jets making circles like that? It could be the Fallstreak but what is causing it, there are many aircraft there if that is the case.

I am forced to agree.

It looks like the same light orbs that someone recorded making crop circles.

I figured it was to good to be true!

I have seen the original video on the fb page of the guy who made it.

His fb is filled with his cgi creations.

He's actually a little miffed people keep posting his stuff without giving him credit.
