I don't blame them. The anti-trump cruelty has turned out to be very lucrative for them. It feeds the addiction of those who are insatiably addicted to it. We wouldn't want any withdrawal symptoms to appear.

Did any of you actually read the article?

It doesn't bash Melania or Ivanka. In fact it doesn't even mention Ivanka at all.

It talks about an outfit, her statement regarding the outfit, and what it might mean.

Good lord, It's an opinion piece,
don't go getting your balls all twisted out of shape about it !
There's more to lfe

It's written by someone who often takes the (wry) piss out of fashion 'faux pas'
by people who should know better...

The salient point, from the article :

... look at the state of this situation: as she was on her way ostensibly to visit people whose lives have been irrevocably destroyed, she used her departure as a fashion moment, posing for photographers in her puffa jacket and stilettos ...

Get it ?

Whilst part of the country has been turned into a war zone
with a huge health, sustenance and sanitation crisis on the way
Melania opts not to dress up as a 'lending-a-hander' in rubber boots 'n' jeans

but as a fashion model for Vogue, Tatler... Closer .. Bare ass, Inside Thigh
Whatever

The (opinion) point being that the image being vehiculed
is not particulary helpful during a national crisis

It's the image over-and-above-substance debate

Which sums up the Trump Sr presidency so far

She is a powerful Woman who came to the U.S and had to work hard doing some less than desirable work, but she got it done.

What? LOL What power? Pussy power?

What is "less than desirable" work? Pornography? Girl on girl porn? She HAD to do that?

How quick you are to attempt to tear down and demean women. And small. The hypocrisy is staggering and par for the regressed "progressives."

Because the Obama's weren't snowmen out for applause. They actually deserved respect. And obviously got it since the news didn't need to follow them around reporting every outrageous thing they do.

It's all about how a woman looks isn't it? That's where the value in women lies I guess.

I wonder...does she ever use her pretty head to think of is it just a place to keep her highlighted bleached hair?

What does she do?
Oh that's right she's not supposed to do anything. She's a trophy.
And when she does speak she steals someone else's speech.

The point I was making is that women judge other women on looks much more harshly than men do; and to point out the reasons for that fact in a very many cases.

Well you must feel so much better about your own awesome possumness right now... talking trash about a woman who certainly has never done a damn thing to hurt you... or anyone that I know of... and -- here's the best part -- all behind her back with no opportunity to speak for herself. Some people would consider that quite cowardly... perhaps even the act of yellow bellied bully..... but they just don't know that's what makes you so oh-so-clever... so awesome possum, right?

Golly gee... now that we've established just how awesome possum you are... and I know I'm just not at that same... um... level... you probably shouldn't waste your awesome possum time and awesome possum energy on the likes of lil ol me...

Wrong. Melania Trump is complicit. She claims to want to fight online bullying, yet, she supports her husband's bullying. She blithely covered for her husband's misogynous "Access Hollywood" conversation, as "Boys being boys....locker room talk".

She seems to be a poster child for spousal abuse, and not in a good way.

Melania Trump has done plenty to hurt women.

Oh yes. The liberal media is just SOOOO awful in how they are treating the first lady. Though I wonder how badly you cared about the previous first lady being ridiculed for no reason? Or is it different here because Melania was a working woman?
22 times Michelle Obama endured rude, racist, sexist or plain ridiculous attacks
Here's a good one:

13. She’s not classy enough and is an “atrocity” as first lady: “She makes a fool of herself — every time she comes on TV, I have to turn it off. Laura Bush was so classy, and that’s what we really need again.” (Laurie Boilard, quoted by Bloomberg Politics at a party for a Republican candidate’s wife)

Another goodie

21. She’s President Obama’s “baby mama.” (Fox News)

Hmmmmm... not quite the whole story:

Melania Trump issued this short-but-sweet statement:

"The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me. This does not represent the man I know. He has the heart and mind of a leader. I hope people will accept his apology, as I have, and focus on the important issues facing our nation in the world."

Source

She claims to want to fight online bullying, yet, she supports her husband's bullying.

Funny thing about Trump's so-called "bullying"... most of what I've seen called "bullying" on the part of Trump is a direct response -- albeit an insulting response -- to the initial insults of others to him. That's not bullying. That's a level playing field.

It seems to me that lots of people who like to talk trash are just bummed out that Trump talks trash back. I don't like it. But it is what it is.

She seems to be a poster child for spousal abuse, and not in a good way.

Spousal abuse? Really??? Do tell...

Melania Trump has done plenty to hurt women.

You mean like when she bullied and intimidated all those bimbos erupting with claims of sexual harassment and -- gasp! -- RAPE against her husband? Like that???

Oh wait! That wasn't Melania...

Nope. Melania did the exact opposite. Melania didn't blame the women. Melania stood up loud and proud and clearly declared her husband's words as "unacceptable and offensive."

So please spare me the faux outrage.
