I found a photo online of a list of reasons people were deemed insane back in the day...
When they practiced lobotomies instead of medication...


& it got me wondering...

Which of these reasons would you have been committed to the Asylum for...

I'm pretty sure they'd have to check me off as a "hard study" due to "woman troubles." No signs of suppressed masturbation.

People that have seen "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest" or read the book will get a small slice of life in the Asylum.

Asylums for the 'insane' were businesses, just like the prison for profit complex today. There were orphanages, and 'schools' for retarded children that were also bad, and I mean bad...
