I'm not sure what your intelligence has to do with anything because I was replying to another member. The fact of the matter though, is that if you actually read my explanation of why your insistence that the odds of life occurring without a magical creator are impossible then you couldn't have understood it.

You and those who came up with that magic number are not using critical thinking or the scientific method to reach your conclusions. You begin with a false premise and then use that to stomp your feet and insist its true because...math. To get to that special place, you have to ignore reality because as I point out, that number is based wholly on the assumption that only one specific ribosome must be synthesized for life to begin. No matter what equation you want to attach to it, it isn't true.

You start with a conclusion and then work backwards to fill in the blanks to satiate your staggering need to fulfil confirmation bias. It's a disingenuous approach. You flat out refuse to look at anything but what you want to see while refusing to look at anything else.

The main difference between you and I is that I'm fully capable of and willing to accept that I can be wrong. I find that being wrong is sometimes better than being correct because it gives me the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and look in other directions for the answers. You are scared that you could be wrong and that's too bad because that means that you're afraid of learning and gaining knowledge and that makes me sad for you.

How has God cheated you?
What's that about?

I don't think God is.
I attribute my "fortune" to results of my actions and chance.

Scary, huh?

Deal with it, because that it is reality.

In my opinion.

I have yet to see you say you are wrong...
So I guess I just don't believe you...
You are not as smart as you believe...
I'm not scared of being wrong...
And please don't be sorry for me... I disrespect patronization...

problem is he isn't wrong... so theres no need to admit to something that isn't true

Funny thing is you are right...
There is this little safety clause...
It's called free will...
You are entirely responsible...
That too is reality...
Deal with that...

I do deal with it and always have. Every minute.

Now, on topic, does your god preclude the science of evolution?

I have already answered that...
Are you a lawyer?
My answer will be short this time...
Not necessarily...

I'll show what I said last time you asked...

No I do not believe it is...
Take for example creation in the Bible...
Now like I have said before time in relation to the viewpoint of God is skewed...
It is written a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day to him...
So if we take into account then 7 days to God could be measured therefore as any amount of time to man...
Even billions of years...
In fact if you were to multiply the number of days from the prospective of the lineage of mankind in the Bible by 1000 and compared it to the estimated age of the Universe you may be quite surprised...
Anyway if you set aside the timeframe the rest of it fits with both creation and evolution on just what came before what...

Well, ok. I guess.

But your ellipses imply that you have more to say so I will withhold my observation that it appears you are attempting to evade the question.

So please, continue.

So is generally thought that 6000 years is how long "god" took to create the universe?

and you believe this?

Woodpeckers.

They remind me of Politicians (spelling fixed) and Politically insane advocates, so i'm kind of surprised they're both not brain damaged. Pecking at the same spot without seeing change, should be a mandate for insanity, no?

And many ellipses.

I'll say it like this for you so you can understand my perception...
6000x365x1000
It would be more like that according to what I said...

care to explain that?

6k years x 365 days? (which didn't exist when said text was written) x 1000 which was already accounted for

You tell me.

And please tell me as well how your God (as opposed to dogma) precludes the science (theory, if you wish) of evolution?
