Just wanted to chime in. When Germans say 'southern', they mean 'Suedlich', which includes all mediterranian looks. Meaning Dark hair, eyes and darker skin tones and can include everyone from Italy to Spain and any other that fits that general description. It is also used to be nice when describing anyone else from further away.
If she meant Bavarian, she would have said Sued-Deutsch, south-german.

You can never just translate foreign words as there are so many nuances to their meaning that you only understand gut-wise when yous peak the language.

The American embassy in Oslo also told women not to venture out at night due to rape a few years back. This is becoming the norm for Europe. Massive immigration from an incompatible and brutish culture (Islam) is overwhelming the meek Europeans.

Sure, there are some success stories and it's a shame to paint all immigrants from Islamic countries with the same brush, but I'm not going to p**** foot around the subject either. In twenty years, Europe will be as bad as the Middle East.

Well im going to right ahead and assume you have never been to Germany or have any idea of their way of life, I can tell you that they are happier and wealthier and far safer than the average American, by many times.

So you just keep worrying about Germany instead of using that energy to focus on making where you live a better place...

Take an ordinary cloth glove and turn it inside out. Lay you hand on the palm side and mark the places where your three central fingers touch the fingers of the glove. There are pads of muscle between the knuckles of your fingers. Put a mark centered on the two lower pads of these three fingers. This should make six marks on the fingers of the glove.
Now insert thumb tacks through all six of these marks and cover the heads of the tacks with three strips of tape. This is to hold the tacks in place and spread their contact with your fingers. Turn the glove back right side out and put it onto your hand. If you have positioned them properly, the tacks will close into one another and should not be sticking into your skin.
I would suggest you not prepare but one glove as you cannot do any "normal' work with the points of the tacks sticking out. I will suggest you put on the glove any time you are going out into a location where you fear you may be attacked. This glove will not do much real serious damage to an assailant but it will make them think twice about continuing an attack. If you do need to use it, simply remember if he can grab you then you are close enough to grab him; where you grab and how long you hold on is totally up to you. If nothing else can be done, a quick slap across the face will help him to be identified at a later date.
I ask that this glove would not be used in an aggressive manner as it is intended to be used as a surprise deterrent.

On a serious note shouldn't the government at least be handing out free anti rape devices , or starting up some schemes for jogging parnter's or putting more police on the beat with dogs or something along those lines

or would that be admitting there is a problem

speaking of anti rape devices and the previous posters gloves, has anyone invented any new devices other than sonic or sprays?

something like anti rape clothing that cant be torn or opened unless its done in a specific way in order to deter them.
or some form of non toxic expanding foam to prevent physical penetration .?

Keep telling yourself that. I take say 1 million + convicts and let them lose on the streets and can claim all the safety in the world. Repeating the lie doesnt make it so.

I was thinking further about it last night , what about a device , a piece of clothing , say under garments specifically designed to deter rapists or physical attackers

The materials the clothes are made from are durable but they have special pockets of material / liquid or gas that when punctured or broken release a chemical which is so nauseating that it forces the attacker to vomit or collapse or become disorientated. The wearer of said clothing has a defense against this in that they can put in nose plugs or something which comes with the anti rape clothing , or it can be a small canister

I am just thinking aloud, but something non lethal and non toxic , but causes vomiting or visual and physical discomfort

That was only in certain parts of Oslo, and the reason was because we had a rash of really bad attack rapes (not sure how it is termed in English). That problem has been fixed (they were all arrested, can't remember how many there were), we do not have that many rapes in Oslo any more.

We have cut immigration extremely much, we only have accepted a few hundred this year. And we have thrown out lots of economic migrants.

We are not in EU, so we do not have the same problems they do (where a few unelected persons rule without impunity).
