GOT recent (spoilers) scene that is confusing.

In the recent game of thrones episode we find theon deciding to
try and save his sister yara. He goes down to the shore to convince some
ironborn to help him. They tell him to sod off because he is a coward.
He gets in a fight with their leader and only wins because the leader
tries to kick him in the groin. It doesn't work because.....and here is my confusion.
Theon had his penis cut off not his balls right? When a man is kicked in the groin the
pain comes from the balls being damaged not the penis. A penis can take tons of
abuse with little pain so if theon had no penis but still had his balls getting kneed in the groin
would have still hurt just as bad, but it didn't.

My question that I can't seem to find an answer online to is this.
What parts of theon were cut off and what parts were left?

What I GOT ( see what I did there ? ) from the beach scene was that when Theon was getting a proper beating from the Ironborne he realised that no matter how brutal the beating, including but not limited to a heavy boot to his groin, nothing would ever give him as much physical pain as the torture he endured at the hands of Ramsay Bolton.

Not sure what "bits" he has left.. he might have lost everything...but it doesn't stop him fighting. Look at the Unsullied...or as I call them...the Unwullied scottish humour

I think maybe you answered your own question.

Seemed pretty clear that there was nothing left down there to hold him back, to cause him pain. Especially in light of the opening scene, and what was discussed there. Re-watch it if you need to.

He turned what most would see as a weakness into an advantage.

Oh yeah, Littlefinger was always in control, always scheming and manipulating others.

Seeing him caught totally off guard and unaware when his schemes blew up in his face was one of my favorite moments of the season.

That moment when you realise it might be two years until we see the last 6 episodes...

Obviously never been kicked or kneed in a penis. It hurts just as much as the testicles.

At any rate our ol' buddy Theon had all his bit parts cut off.

I wish they had extended this season out a little more. I would have loved to have seen the three starks together finally figuring out just what little finger had been up to.
but regardless of that, I loved the way they managed to have little finger thinking he was on top of the game till the very end..

I don't have testies but reading that hurt just the same.

I'm not so sure he didn't deserve having his manhood removed, he was a real di#k. I think karma caught up with Theon. One thing stands, he'll never have to worry about having his balls removed lol.

I think his balls were cut off so he would not experience that pain. I think all the Ramsey torture made him much less susceptible to pain.

What I like about what he is doing by going off to save his sister is he's integrating Ned Stark part back into his soul. The talk he had with Jon was so good. For me, Jon telling Theon he's both a Stark and Greyjoy was just as good as Little Finger getting his throat slit for all he's done. Theon had done some really bad things but man did suffer with Ramsey.

I had the same thought, I don't know ..everyone in that hall would have to agree not to talk about littlefinger dying..

I could see the face being useful to manipulate robyn arren .. the boy is simple,even if he got a raven saying little finger was dead,if arya showed up in the mask the kid would fall for it..

But the only useful reason for that would be to secure the knights of the vale for winterfell if robyn called them back to the Eire.

Yeah but it smells like wet leather and stale cheetos in there ..It's not like the shed,we don't have pixies flitting about cleaning up after us..
