Cannabis mellows out people. Instead of turning them into a monster like alcohol can.

That not the case for everyone, I've seen people get very violent after "mellowing out".

And I've seen people on nothing at all get "very violent".

Let the statistics speak for themselves rather than anecdotes.

True, it can happen. Many are uninformed about the difference between sativa and indica varieties. Hopefully, more become more informed. There both considered MJ...but have completely different effects.

I have no problem with legalizing it but let's not pretend that marijuana is a perfect drug, plenty of people can't handle it and have very negative reactions from it even when they are not under the influence of anything else.

I've never seen anyone get violent from cannabis in my 10 years of being around it. Nor have I even heard of a case of someone getting violent on it.
Also I do know the difference between sativa, indica, hybrid and concentrates. My very anecdotal comment still stands.

The claim isn't that it's perfect. The statistics show a lower violent crime rate.

Thats BS, I never have.

Unless you combine weed with some other drug, like alcohol for instance.

From personal observation.

Nice try though.

They doth protest too much.

I think Voyaging really is Abysha. Have you ever seen us in the same place at once? That's what I thought.

ps - They were saying that because you used something I said as a "gotcha" for them as if they said it.

If it affects people negatively they should not use it, just like alcohol.

I also have never seen anyone get violent from using it, not like alcohol.

So I would expect the violent tendencies people get to be be of much greater affluence to alcohol, which is already legal, than marijuana.

So the whole violence issue of it would be an argument of minimal persuasion.

Realize, I am acknowledging it is possible. My own experience is that some individuals are not so much violent but stupidly believe they are more invincible. It usually leads them into hurting themselves...but stupidity can effect others. Indica varieties usually relax you if not put you to sleep; you don't get the munches and the 'I can do anything' high. it is medicinal and one should treat is as such...know how it effects you and don't over imbibe.

Sometimes I've been called Dr. Mclain. And, I concur with Dr. Smith. Tell me exactly what you do, and how you have seen: "people act very violet after mellowing out?" Curious minds want to know.
