The "Live Feed" section of ATS is one of the greatest inventions, and makes it very useful when you're looking for a more broad selection of important
& interesting stories.
That said, I keep thinking about how great it would be if there were a way to "omit" certain forums from appearing in the Live Feed.
For instance, if one were to
omit, say, all political discussion forums... There feed would then be filled with the content from ATS that they
are most interested in.
Certain articles more leaning towards "fringe" or scientific wouldn't be kicked off the front page so often, allowing for selective audiences to
really engage with each other.
"Nothing is stopping people from just going to the forums", this is what I tend to do, but I notice that discussions in many forums tend to die off
when they aren't visible from the main live section. Controversial stories dominating the view in it's stead.
How it could work:
Going to myATS, click "customize live feed", a list of forums appear and you simply un-check the ones you don't wish to see.
Curious what ya'll think, for now it is bed time!
