Every time the moon passes across the earth, it pulls on the tides and the earth rises up to meet the her too. The path of a total eclipse gets cold. It's been my experience that an earthquake almost always happens somewhere along the path of an eclipse, usually within a week, sometimes 2.

We'll see.

When the eclipse has come and gone and the world is still here.

No mass volcano eruptions.

No giant earthquakes.

No "rapture".

No doom whatsoever.

How many of you that made threads saying something will happen will actually to admit you were wrong?

To reach the current pinnacle of doomination you have to wait til after 9-23-17

So we have to wait over a month after the eclipse to see the doomy effects of the eclipse?

Makes perfect sense

Sorry to see you have no sense of humor.......to not understand the connection between the eclipse and 9-23-17 proves you're not a true conspiracy theorist and should be banned from further discussion.

You know it's just a sign a New beginning things won't happen right at the exact time of the eclipse, Just like 12-21-2012 was the beginning of a New chapter.

What happened after 12-21-2012 to indicate that a new chapter was in progress?

I read somewhere that we all died that day and this is our personal hell until we manage to escape. At least on my part the personal hell prediction is spot on.

None.
It's almost over here. My camera didn't capture it but it's visible in the lens flare. And Venus is visible too.

I like to read up on all kinds of theories and that's by far not the craziest one. CERN also started the world simulation that day and the ME's are apparently glitches in the matrix is another theory. I like this stuff and i don't judge.

If those are the things you're looking for, you're gonna be disappointed.

Astrological events are metaphysical. Spiritual. Personal.

They can have significant energetic impacts on people. Not on the physical nature of Earth.

For those literally expecting the return of a physical Christ, refer to my first sentence.

But people always tie life events to something. The eclipse today is a big "something". "I asked your mom to marry me during the big 2017 Solar eclipse!"

You married TerryDon's mom? So you're his step-dad

Unfortunately she told me no. But I will try again when there is a lunar eclipse in progress. That might be more romantic.

Signs that are supposed to be warnings wouldn't be very good if they happened right as they event they were warning of was occurring would they?

"Hey look! I'm telling you that thing ... you know, that thing ... the one you're all worried about? ... Yeah, that one. It's happening! NOW. YES! Right NOW!!"

Not a very good warning is it?

I only just saw this thread now.

I can understand why our ancestors feared eclipses and thought they were signs of impeding doom: they were more ignorant, they didn't have the scientific knowledge we have today. But modern people thinking the eclipse signals the end of the world..... the start of tribulation..... a metaphysical (invisible) change, this is what baffles me. It's just the moon covering the sun for a few seconds, it's primary school science.

Anyway, I have survived the Y2K/2012/2016 and now 2017 end of the world... so many stories to tell the grandchildren (if I'll have any, lol).
