no he had a webzine whatever that is and it was called alternative right but there was never any such movement called "alt-right" nor was richard spencer any significant figure before the 2016 election.

paul gottfried is jewish and the alt-right he spoke of was completely different than what hillary was describing and had nothing to do with spencer nor did it advocate white supremacy or hatred of any kind, it was about conservative intellectualism, and again it was never anything that took off as any "movement".

And it's still not a "movement" of any sort. I've yet to see any officially recognized Alt-Right demonstration or rally. Alt-Right just sounds scarier and more sinister than regular 'ol Right. Just another label to throw at people who trigger them.

And his context certainly wasn't "Nazis are good people".

In fact he denounced Neo-Nazis in that same briefing or whatever.
