I wanted to make a thread to post a playlist of epic, passionate songs.

Anything goes as far as what to post. Really if its a good song I will listen to it. What gets you going?

When you need the fire inside you to churn. When you are trapped in pain, agony and wailing against the world, what gives you the strength to overcome? Is there a song like that?

Show me please. Give a faith beggar a moment of your hope. Give to the lonely, hurt and struggling a fair share of inspiration.

Let the wretched and outcast reach here for a breath of life.

Mate, that's a truly # epic selection.

A couple of oldies but still brillianties.

Here is the first song that came to mind when you mentioned ''passionate''

Van Ronk was that, passionate. He was a folk singer from back in the sixties achieving modest popularity but never hit the level of national popularity.

Here hes is singing a tear jerker, Motherless Children

While I am on the theme of mothers, here is ''
The Blue Sky Boys from the 1930s and 40s.

The Lightning Express tells the tale of a young boy on a train with no ticket, when the conductor comes to collect it.
This is the tale he tells the conductor.

Passion, yes. Power, beyond belief.

This is Festive Overture by Russian composer Demitri Shostakovich. He ran afoul of the Communist government in his later years but this piece was written to express the hopes and power of the Russian people in commemoration of the 37th anniversary of the October Revolution..

I know, commie, commie. But if you want power, I can think of none better. If you can stand classical music, put on your phones and let this one carry you away. Get's my heart pumping every single time.

Nice tata. The first one is new to me.

Now, honestly, here is one that needs to be listened to in quiet.

Libera's ''Lament''

Get comfortable and relax. Use whatever you use to slow down, to settle your mind, to get ready to drifffffft.
If you find this in the morning, save it for the evening. You did not mention ''haunting'' in your request for selections but this one is so powerful it can turn one to pudding. OK? Wait for the right time.
