I grew up with Jerry Lewis. Here is my very favorite bit if his. It is done to a well known piece of music by Count Basie.
Now I like to kid myself and view this as an interpretation of Trumps first day in the White House. Enjoy

Cinderfella. Oh boy. I just lost it when he did that descent on the Grand Staircase. He played played the '' innocently stupid'' on a par with Stan Laurel

Oh I could not stand his movies. He was always so spastic and imbecilic as to make one have seizures watching him. Dean Martin his partner, now that was a different story. Still I liked Jerry the Person. RIP Ol'Man

Yes, Jerry Lewis was a funny man, on camera.

In real life, he was a very nasty man.

I'm of mixed feelings here.

On the one hand, I'm saddened because Mr. Lewis was a large part of my childhood thanks to my dad.
On the other, I'm glad he won't be in pain anymore.

RIP Jerry.

R.I.P. Jerry, I was hoping he would be the next President, but it wasn't to be!

He did raise billions for MD, even though some say he was narky or cruel even, but maybe we can all be a bit of everything at times. But he was very much a thinker too. He made me laugh anyway.

He was my commencement speaker when I graduated college in the mid-1990s. He told the most politically incorrect jokes, ever. What a delight he was. Today's college grads would have needed safe spaces.

And he had a huge heart for children and those suffering from Muscular Dystrophy.

RIP to an entertainment giant and very good man!

He was unable to get to my funny bone as well, but I give him a lot of credit for making his style of entertainment his very own. That, and he always seemed willing to give back to the community. Vice had a different point of view.

he brought many smiles to many faces in his day; silly as he was.

RIP Jerry.

A lot of actors are/were like that. Michael Landon is a good example. He always portrayed himself in movies and T.V shows as kind and a family man. According to his children, he wasn't either of those. Shrug.
