The beginning of the end.

The globalists have been successful in dismantling all opposition.

Trump will tow their line, or he too will be gone.

Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

I suspect Trump won't be far behind. This will be a lesson to anyone who isn't part of the establishment and wants to run, it's not allowed. The Russia narrative is dying quickly, and the new trick is to somehow associate him with white supremacy. I suspect next will be a real skeleton found in his closet. (like the kind with bones and a skull)

If true, this is the first thing this administration has done that I agree with. Now if he gets rid of Sessions and Stephen Miller, we'll be making America great again..

Which isn't saying much, given how bad it's gotten under Trump.

Is it so hard to believe a global businessman has been a globalist all along?

Hard to say Bass. There are interpretations of what is going on in the WH from all sides. I'm pretty much of a mind that the whys of any of this are so complex that we could fight over possible reasons for years and not come to any definitive answers.

Um yes. When he is loathed by them more than anyone else.

I think the writing was on the wall when Trump was asked about him and said he was a good person.

Bye bye Bannon .... Next !

I fail to see how Bannon isn't a globalist. He's been expanding the Breitbart empire into Europe for a while. He had Erik Prince pitch a proposal to Mattis which involved what? Having a mercenary army in Afghanistan, under the control of the CIA, with the intent of sending in US mining companies to extract Afghani mineral deposits.

You would think that CIA controlled merc armies would be something that falls squarely in the "globalist" column. No?

Is it not globalism if there are crony deals for your "Christian Warrior" warmongering, war profiteering friends, who stand to make billions of dollars? Bannon can say whatever nonsense he wants but the reality is, when he had his chance, he actively promoted the worst aspects of globalism.

I don't like Bannon. Never liked Bannon and never thought he should have been there in the first place. But, it's obvious, Bannon has been sacrificed on account of Trump's horrific, very very bad pressers this week.

Can't help noticing how long it's been since anyone mentioned Russia. Now it's a dozen images of Trump as KKK.

Short attention spans.

Many want to believe that the powers that be are some tight knit cabal of Machiavellian manipulators and while that may be what they aspire to I hold with your assessment. It is the business world that is already globalist in their thinking and pulling the rest of us along. Trump is after all reputed to be an international businessman.

The first indication of this seems to have come from a tweet from Matt Drudge.

Drudge reports that Steve Bannon is leaving the White House

Conservative internet news mogul Matt Drudge reported Friday that White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is leaving the White House.

Drudge tweeted Friday that Bannon "had one hell of a run..." He led his website with the headline "BANNON OUT AT WHITE HOUSE," but did not provide any additional details

I didn't even read the American Prospect interview (the site was down from activity when I tried the first time) but apparently he called Trump an "arrogant fool" and admitted that there was no real military strategy re: North Korea.

EDIT:

Reading article now. No, that wasn't Bannon who said it, that was the author of the article. I misunderstood. My mistake.

He did say the bit about North Korea though:

American Prospect - Steve Bannon, Unrepentant

Contrary to Trump’s threat of fire and fury, Bannon said: “There’s no military solution [to North Korea’s nuclear threats], forget it. Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us.” Bannon went on to describe his battle inside the administration to take a harder line on China trade, and not to fall into a trap of wishful thinking in which complaints against China’s trade practices now had to take a backseat to the hope that China, as honest broker, would help restrain Kim.

Sinking ship. A complete disaster of a Presidency from day 1. More and more are going to bail out soon.

Well that's a bad mistake if true because now Bannon is gonna start leaking sensitive information that will destroy Trump as revenge for firing him.

Bannon was a wild card from the beginning. With his anarchist views I wonder just how loyal to Trump he will be. Not very I think. Not like others who have been fired. He may decide to spill a lot of beans. He has not to my memory been one to thrive in the spotlight but more a lime light kind of guy. That may change.

I wonder that Trump would set him loose like this. Wouldn't it be easy to figure that making an enemy of Bannon be a not so wise choice? But then that idea relies upon Trump being able to figure anything at all in the first place.
