This was supposedly broadcast on a live feed on Fox News 17-08-2017.


Certainly something flashing past the camera. I haven't got a clue to what is is.

Looks like a frisbee in all honesty or a bird. Its close to the camera, it doesn't go behind the building, I'd say frisbee...

I think one of the first few comments for the video nailed it.


It's a Frisbee.

Frisbee. A very common flying object, found frequently on the Mall west of the Capitol. I must have thrown one there myself as a kid, since my buddies and I used to wander tripping and stoned around the museums and halls of power there.

The video has a small box that says 'file'. It's stock footage. The people at Fox News will do anything to keep their brand alive, including using stock footage with an 'UFO' included. Look at us here, discussing the video and invoking the word "Fox".

Smart producers there at Fox News, even if I don't like their editorial.

Perspective is tricky, but it seems to big to be a frisbee.

Actually it is the new "Twitter™ Drone" It is designed to track Twitter™ users when they go into "melt down" and these drones are supposed to find the Twitterer before they totally lose it...

Any madcap Twitter™ users in that area?

Well, it's yellow and it appears to be a disk, so I would say it is one of those UFrisbeeO objects. I also see that the Secureteam channel picked up on this one, without committing to an opinion. A sensible option, for once.
