It only resembles a flying saucer to you because you believe in flying saucers and have an opinion of what they look like.

This could just as easily be a top-down depiction of two people lying down with object placed in a circle around them.
In fact what makes you think this is not a top-down depiction?

Or it could be some ancient artists idea of what the earth looks like.
Or it could be a form of circular calendar.

I was wondering if the circles might be used to chart the sun or moon position, or maybe it was like a type of sundial, or if we could see it in better detail, a few millennia ago before it eroded, we might see phases of the moon in those circles, or some other detail.

It could be a map, but those circles bothered me. Maybe its a map And a sun dial/moon tracker/calendar?

Looks a bit like 12 stars inside a sun. Apostle-yptic?

Who knows it's interesting.

But a few intriguing points the presenter brings out:
1. The 'people' depicted in the 'UFO' look different from all other hunters on the wall
2. It is drawn on the ceiling rather than on the wall

1. No indication at all that its a depiction of a flying object. So until than it's just a painting of "something" not a UFO.
2. It does look like a different artist drew this but it could be as simple as that. Just a different artist. Or it could be a depiction of elders or other important people, or even images of what they think the gods looked like.
3. There is no reason to believe that the placement is to convey flight. It could be to convey importants or that the figures and objects depicted belong to a different world. Or it could even be random, that's just the place this artist decided to put it that day.
