I think that every person whom loves and appreciates music as the song of the soul, has that one song that brings about so many emotions or memories.
Brings you into that perfect feeling of just being at one and feeling happy.

There are only 2 artists that I turn to when I just need to get centered again.
Scott Weiland and Maynard Keenan
Those two voices can take my mind on a journey.
Tonight im leaning more towards Keenan. Its been a very long an stressful day here at the mine site.
So im in my office, not a soul around just me and A Perfect Circle.

When the levee breaks. This song is a cover of Zepplins.
If you havent heard it before, let james voice drift your mind into the sea empty.
Close your eyes and relax

Then get ready to head back out again with Maynard and Puscifer.

Yes sir! I saw APC live and it was amazing. Sounds better live and he changes lyrics up slightly. An amazing experience to say the least.

I couldn't pick a favorite Tool / APC / Puscifer song to save my live. So many good ones.

Hell ya Gravity is amazing.
I remember when I was working up in the arctic. It was 1 week till christmas and I was supposed to fly home.
A blizzard came in and because we were in the middle of no where - A 2 hour charter plane ride North of Yellowknife - we knew we were stuck there until the snow stopped.
I remember laying in my bunk house, couldnt see the shack across the way because the snow was just coming down.

It was a very lonely, yet such a humbling experience seeing nature so extreme. I layed in my bunk staring out the window, listening to Gravity over and over again.

Nice! Music is probably the greatest thing humans have made.

I read somewhere that some peoples brains are wired differently than others and music has the ability to give some chills and affect them on a different neurological level. I feel bad for the people who arent effected by music like that.

What an amazing experience to miss out on.

My father is a perfect example of that.
Never once have I ever heard him say a song name, see him listening to a song, or do anything with his truck radio asides turn it to the talk channels.
He couldn't give 2 snips about music.

Me on the other hand couldn't imagine not having it.
It can take me out of the most crappiest mood in a matter of minutes.

Nothing like their sound, much like MJK bands.

In response to JinMI:

Layne Staley is definitely on my list as well, man. Discovered AIC back when I was transitioning from middle to high school somewhere around 2003. I needed their music at that exact moment in my life. My doctor had recently put me on this new medication for ADD and as a result I was dealing with emotions I'd never experienced before (like thoughts of suicide and self-hate). It'd be nearly impossible for me to choose an absolute favorite song from them, so I'll just post one that many people haven't heard. Layne and Jerry's harmonizing on this song is just so unique.

This song. I always find so soothing. Even when I play it myself.
