The dire humanitarian situation in Yemen is a man-made catastrophe – not a natural disaster. The ongoing armed conflict and the manner in which it is being fought only contributes to and exacerbates this humanitarian crisis. We call on all members of the UNSC to take immediate action to end violations of international humanitarian law by the parties to the conflict, prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation and ensure accountability.

The Saudis are keeping the airports closed so that none of the NGOs can get aid to the people of Yemen.

They are doing this under the guise of keeping aid out of the hands of the rebels. This is like some sort of national chemotherapy. If you don't die from the disease, you die from the treatment.

Is there anything anyone can do?

Sure, head on over and start protesting with a sign and start chanting. They will love you over there in the desert.

I will keep my nose out of the rest of the world's business as should anyone else with half a brain.
