When was it released to the Media?
Looks as if the report was FOR the year 2016...

2016 Annual Report on International Religious Freedom

See how easy a person can get things wrong ?
They couldnt release a report in 2016 , for 2016

Looks like you're right on the release date. My mistake.

Yeah.
And I will leave you be , because you admitted it.
Takes a good member to do that.

It just struck me as odd when I went to check the news tonight and this was first. I thought we had moved on from Kim and were worried about KKKbLMQWERTY now. Lol

Now , with all said.
I cant speak as to the motive (if there was one) . However, bethcya other news agencies post it once it is available to them...

It is well known that NK represses its people with prison camps and worse.

Satellite imagery of North Korea’s network of political prison camps show its government is continuing to maintain, and even invest, in these repressive facilities. These camps constitute the cornerstone of the country’s large infrastructure dedicated to political repression and social control that enables widespread and systematic human rights abuses. Assessments of the satellite images of two political prison camps – known as kwanliso -- collected in May and August show the addition of new guard posts, upgrading of a reported crematorium, and on-going agricultural activities.

I am curious do we know how many people are incarcerated in nth Korea ?

Is it a comparative amount I wonder in terms of population to the amount of Americans incarcerated in the U.S.

No, defectors have pretty much confirmed that the story is true.

Thx for that, so roughly 1% of the norths population are incarcerated , much the same in the U.S interestingly enough, except of course the U.S have roughly 15 times the population.

I'm not sure that the U.S can really hold the moral high ground on incarceration levels.

I'm certain that there is no moral equivalence between criminals convicted by a jury of their peers and political enemies and/or malcontents that are jailed at the direction of a dictator.

Not a lead up to anything. Recently Canada was able to secure the release of one of their citizens from N. Korean custody. His crime - leaving a bible in a bathroom.

Communists nations rarely accept religion since by definition they are suppose to be atheists. Communist countries who "tolerate" religion, like China, meddle in their internal affairs by appointing their own religious leaders. As an example
china tried to appoint their own Catholic priests. They also require approval from the government for a person to be reincarnated as the Dali Lama.

Well there is that I guess, true . Although one could argue being locked up for drugs is pretty crooked, not to mention the mentally ill that are locked up with no where else to go. Anyhow this is not the time or place for that discussion.

Considering they execute you and 3 generations of your family for pretty much anything they say you've done, I think we pretty much DO have the moral high ground.

Death row is just about anyone in jail there.

I don't think there is a lot of recidivism in Noko.

Lol, the USA has the highest % of prisoners world wide.

And many of their prisons are private affairs.

People are blind.

But but but their prisoners are treated worse, and they didn't deserve being locked up..... I need to get me a pair of these rose colored glasses folks have to look through to justify their stance .

Fox News is at it again. They are pushing a new story about NK and Kim torturing and killing those who are religious.
www.foxnews.com...

"The North Korean regime has continued to position itself as the one of the world’s worst persecutors of the religious, torturing and killing people who practice their faith, according to a new State Department report released Tuesday."

Anyone else think this is just another attempt to get the people behind an attack on NK? The timing is all too convenient in my eyes.

It only matters if they are killing and torturing Jews or Christians. Budhists, and Muslims or any others do not count!
Well to Foxy News for sure!

we would be lucky if we only got WW3 going.

But this is precisely what has been happening since 2009, WW3. It has kicked into high gear since 2015 and is growing even larger every year until the turning point sometime late this year or early to mid next year.

The reason Helter Skelter is on every news broadcast now 24/7 is to hide this very fact.
There are already three distinct media reports alluding to imminent action for Venezuela. The Marco Rubio assassination plot, the white house attack plot, and the CIA report of Russians Iranians and Hezbollah in the country. These are designed to elicit a state of complicity for military action in the public psyche.

So while a fake theater stage production of race wars rages on here in the states, probably secretly produced by the Global Engagement Center, the real war wages across the globe. It is the war that will decide which financial order and empire will govern over the 21st century. But if we are lucky, an Earth alliance with a reformed UN can come of it that can bypass the problem of the permanent members of the Security council.

Fox News just does not want to let Kim out of the breaking news media. Article on front page of fox is about his massive stockpile of chemical weapons. As if we did not know he had them already.

VP Pence is cutting his trip to South America short. He's returning to the US tomorrow, and the way this report starts out it sounds as if he's doing this because of the controversy regarding President Trump's remarks on the violence in VA.

Vice President Pence will end his visit to South America early and fly home on Thursday, after President Trump sparked enormous controversy for his comments following deadly violence in Charlottesville, Va.

Pence's announcement came just as Trump was announcing the disbanding of two his economic councils amid an exodus of CEOs from the advisory boards after Trump's remarks. The violence in Charlotte left one counterprotester dead and at least 19 injured when a vehicle drove through a crowd.

Pence's office said the vice president was returning to Washington on Thursday night instead of Friday morning to attend the president's meeting at Camp David. Those meetings are expected to focus on North Korea.

Source

If you read through the report in its entirety, it tries to focus on the violence in Charlottesville and gets into what's going on in Venezuela. It looks like they're trying to spin this to make it look like Pence is returning sooner than expected for something other than NK.

Maybe it's just me, but why would Pence cut his trip short if it were about VA and Venezuela when our Potus will be focusing on NK?

VA and Venezuela is not as urgent as the crisis in North Korea. I think something's afoot.

the money is in fear mongering not in a real world war.

The globalist corporations dont need or want an actual ww3 scenerio. The financial impact and risk of a real ww3 scenerio would threaten their grips on their money and control they have firmly grasping in their hands.

fear mongering is where its at. the right foxnews does the war mongering and left cnn amd msnbc does the ism (racism, sexism) mongering.

it makes no financial sense to start a ww3 scenerio for anyone. its always about money and even the krazy nk leader wont be let out of his leach to far.
