Some people in Guam got their socks scared off of them when "Alerts" went off on some TV and radio stations.

Right in the middle of the Un-scare from North Korea !!

Somebody says it was "Human" error !!

And the usual "This is only a test" was missing !!

I think it was a "Panic-Prank" and was politically motivated.

Alert system went off around midnight, scaring residents. It was a false alarm

Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense wants to assure residents that the alert they heard at 12:25 am Tuesday was a false alarm.

Homeland Security Advisor George Charfauros clarified on NewsTalk K57 that the alarm went off as a result of “human error.”

Residents tuning in to their television and radio stations at 12:25 am were frightened by the alert as it did not specify that it was only a test. Homeland Security and the Guam Police Department became flooded with calls from concerned residents, said Charfauros, as a result.

To complicate matters, power to some villages tripped off-line for a couple hours in a number of villages just hours before the alert went off.

I was over someone's house and the one of the kids piped this video over the cable TV signal:

Honestly, I almost had a heart attack. I was really pissed at the little Shiite. I didn't think it was funny.

What time was the 'earthquake' recorded in Pyongyang?
I wonder if the two were connected.

Some kids have too much time on their hands.
Your first clue should have been "Fallout Shelter"
They should have went all in and stated "Proceed to your assigned Vault-Tec Vault"

Maybe the alert operator fell asleep with his arm on the button.
I am sure it scared the hell out of some people though.

There was no earthquake near Pyongyang.

There was one in between Guam and Pyongyang though...

That must have been terrifying for the residents!

Could this accident been perpetrated by North Korean agents as a form of psychological terror? NK special operations are famously competent at carrying out these kinds of ops..
