It makes me question my membership on ATS.
There are a lot of people on ATS who have been defending this. Makes me question if I want to be associated with a forum that have people who defend this kind of crap.
They defend it talking about freedom of speech, this is not freedom of speech this is hate and terrorism.
Thats is a very sobering video thank you for posting.

I have to to be honest. As a black male, this place is becoming overtly hostile environment. It didn't use to be like this, I used to spend most of my time over in the science section. It was fun debating the conspiracy theories and looking at the fringe science. Now, it seems to be all hate and discontent and conflict and propaganda. Not sure how much longer I'm going to stay around here.

A big part of the problem is that "they" don't see it as racist, they all just stop short of out right declaring "white before minorities", but they are racist in their defence of this behaviour, its covert racism and its just as bad as overt racism.

PM me with people defending this. I have yet to see it.
I will defend anyone right to free speech, until they act in violence. This does not mean that I defend nazis. In fact, I think the best way for them to be outed is to let them talk so that all can see their hatred and bigotry.
But I am seeing two problems.
The first is a large group labeling anyone who thinks that these people have the right to free speech as defending nazis.
The second is the absolute refusal to acknowledge that people on the other sides say and do just as terrible things.

The idea of falsely shouting "fire" in a crowded theater arose from the Supreme Court's 1919 decision in the case Schenck v. United States. The Court ruled unanimously that the First Amendment, though it protects freedom of expression, does not protect dangerous speech.

But will you defend that clown at 4:53ish in the Vice video that has a drop-leg holster strapped around his #damn knee?

This is now endemic throughout ATS.
I am not going to go about quitting people because most of them just stop short of outright chanting white power.
I am just getting fed up of it, I am not really interesting in arguing about it anymore, rather I am just calling it as I see it and that is it.
Agree with me or disagree with me I don't care much of what you think of my views.

People, in general, can do and say very terrible things. Regardless of their political ideologies.
So I'm confused as to why it would matter if someone acknowledged the terrible things someone has said on "the other side".
Seems like a deflection to take away the attention away from what these people did and said.

You can't shout "fire" in theater because people will die. Allowing Nazis of Identitarians to speak in Charlotte is like yelling "fire" in a theater. I'm sure there are plenty of places in this country where the Identitarians can have their day in the sun. Be going to a place that voted 80% for Hillary Clinton is like going into a theater.
