Can we please stop equating the KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremists to Black Lives Matter

I've seen this comparison so much over the weekend.

The basic text would read "Ya the _____________ (insert your Alt-right hate group) are bad and racist, but so is Black Lives Matter. BLM hates just as much as _____________".

It's tiresome to see.

BLM was born out of injustices to African American's in our legal system. This isn't me taking sides (each case is different), but overall had we have seen some sort of justice for African Americans slain unjustly, the BLM movement would have never started. If a handful of cops would have been found guilty of ANYTHING, BLM would have never started.

FYI: No need to even list which cases cops should/shouldn't have been prosecuted in. We all know that cops have been let off in situations where the average American would have been serving time.

My point is if you want BLM to "go away", start by showing justice for African American citizens who have been wrongly slain by the police.

You know how to make the KKK, Neo-Nazi, White Supremist groups "go away"?

YOU'D HAVE TO ERRADICATE EVERY RACE/ETHNICITY OTHER THAN WHITE!

So please, stop comparing the two. They're not even close to similar, and they're ideologies couldn't be further from the same.

You look like a fool to do so. No matter your condemnation for BLM (right or wrong) they are NOWHERE close to the KKK, Neo-Nazi, White Supremist groups who were in VA over the weekend.

One would disband if legal justice was served.

The other would disband is THEIR justice was served, which just so happens to be genocide.

But even I was surprised by what I've read recently.

You know how to stop the BLM movement easier? Stop giving them attention!

What do you do with whining spoiled children? Stop giving them attention!

Don't give them what they want because then they'll just move on to the next thing they demand. It's not going to solve anything catering to their whims.

The difference between BLM and KKK is that at least the KKK doesn't rob and murder their own race.

But racism wasn't the issue, removing the statue was. Re writing history occurred during the civil war too, when the focus was switched from states rights to slavery. Racism still seethes today, because the Establishment still fans the flames of racism from the Pulpit of Main stream media.

I think the biggest problem is that everyone feels they are being blamed for the problems of others.

Most of us have never repressed anyone or even have the ability to do so.

BLM was born on racial inequality in the justice system.

The KKK, Neo-Nazi, etc were born on the belief that Whites were the superior race and that others were inferior and needed to be exterminated.

BLM would have never formed if there was any semblance of equality in the justice system.

The KKK would have never formed if anything other than White people wouldn't have existed.

They're not even close to the same, and anyone who tries to conflate the two is obviously lacking in some area.

The problem is BLM has engaged in tremendous amounts of violence; from beating people to destroying property, to having self proclaimed members shoot police officers.

So why shouldn't they be treated as an extremists group?

Your argument seems to be that they were founded on just principals.

But the truth is they were founded on a lie.

The most comprehensive study on police shootings, down by a bla,ck man at Harvard that expected to find that blacks were shot at higher numbers, proves that in fact unarmed whites are more likely to be shot by the police.

Hate manifests itself in many ways, including race, color and creed. Hate is hate. Its up to us, "we the people" to show "the government", "the deep state", "republicans and democrats" and whoever else is hell-bent on dividing this country that it wont work. Wake up people!! "They " are succeeding in dividing us! Politicians and the MSN are the race baiters, they are the ones doing their best to create racial division in this country. In the 1920s the KKK boasted that 1/4 of all Southern white men were members and that their members controlled more than half of all State legislatures. They also firebombed churches and lynched anyone who opposed their efforts to maintain racial segregation, including white activists. And more importantly, klansmen killed 2 of my great, great uncles in Alabama who were sharecroppers. By all definitions of the word, they were an actual terrorist organization.

Klansmen killed countless thousands of Americans and literally oppressed millions more. I don't mean today's snowflake oppression of "they won't let me wear a meanie shirt! hmph!". During the Jim Crow laws (which klansmen proudly & violently enforced), black Americans couldn't vote, run for office, serve on a jury against white Americans, or even testify in court against a white person. We also couldn't work at the same places, go to the same doctors/dentists, drink from the same water fountains, live in the same neighborhoods, date or marry inter-racially, etc. Not to mention, the KKK were still proud supporters of the Confederacy which actually killed hundreds of thousands of Americans.

And neo-Nazis are literally the modern members of the movement that started the European theaters of WW2. The Nazis they idolize killed tens of millions of Slavic people, Jewish people, Romani/Roma people, and more. And yes, this also included thousands of Americans.

The KKK literally passed and enforced policies that killed thousands of Americans and oppressed millions of additional Americans. The Nazis passed and enforced policies that killed tens of millions of people, including "the Hunger Plan" which systematically starved entire demographics to death and "Living Space" which was literally the plan to ethnically cleanse the lands east of German lands so that Germans could have "living space". Both of their ideologies were based on the idea that the white race should be held above all other races.

On the other hand, Black Lives Matter wants law enforcement and the judicial system to stop profiling black people and treating us worse than they treat everyone else. The organizations are nearly polar opposites. The NeoNazis and KKK "win" if non-whites are removed and/or oppressed. BLM "wins" if black people are no longer treated as second class citizens by law enforcement and the judicial system. The difference between the ideologies is wait for it... night and day.

BLM wasn't started over a statue, and BLM may have started for LEO reasons, but it quickly became a different org in quick order.

The KKK gained popularity based on aa lie telling people that there problems were because of other races, which led to them doing all of the heinous things you mention.

BLM is popular because of the lie telling people that law enforcement and other races are the cause of their problems, which leads to them committing all sorts of terrible acts.

I will agree with you that in history, the KKK did far more damage than BLM ever will.

But as far as which group is more dangerous and more influential today, its not even close that its BLM>
