Well I went shopping at Meijer today and looked for the corn nuts.....they didn't have them.
Then I stopped at the Meijer gas station on the way out for some gas and they had them there.
They had original, ranch and chile picante flavors, so I got the chile picante flavor.
They are really good, better than I remember them being but I will tell you, these things are like chewing rocks lol
I could see someone cracking a tooth or losing a filling if you are not careful.

So my daughter has heard of them. I guess they're available in gas station convenient stores. She agrees with your estimate of their taste.

I remember them!!!! I used to buy them in a can for $4.00 it was pink. I remember buying them back in 1996. I'm trying to get a photo but no luck.
