What ..you'd bail out a few hundred banks or buy a few Aircraft carriers? Obviously the 18.57 Trillion 2016 GDP of the US is beyond your mathematical conscious understanding.

So how much is spent on the black budgets? Might be a few trillion going that way? Will never know as they don't need to tell.

US Spend trillions yet we don't have defensive missles deployed, internet is being DDOS'd, Spy agencies have no clue? What in the hell are we spending our money on? We don't have an assassin to take out Kim? We have to deploy missiles to protect Guam, Hawaii etc...? We do not have a tracking device attached to Kin jun Un cars? We have to "deploy" bombers and fighters? Japan has to escort our B1B?

Where in the hell are the trillions of defense dollars going exactly?

Jesus.

If we just paid Trump only a trillion of that to stop puffing out his chest, we would have just defended Guam.

Maybe we should just pay him to shut up.

Why do you feel the lack of defensive capability , the ineptness of national security to protect the internet is Trump's fault ?

They release the classified budget every year. It's a fraction of the regular budget. They aren't spending trillions on anything.

Of course not. I would purchase a rock from my neighbors yard for 100 trillion dollars. I didn't say it would be a good investment, I just said I could spend it in minutes if I were so inclined.

How is that for being beyond my understanding.

Eh, from what I've heard THAAD and Patriot aren't particularly reliable for killing ICBMs (hell, there are reports claiming Patriot failed to even intercept Scuds in Iraq). The really effective ABM systems are all unsuitable for deployment politically, which is to say they're either space-based or carry megaton-class nuclear warheads like the LIM-49 Spartan and Sprint did. Missile defense is a touchy subject for politicians, and generally underfunded from what I've heard.

There's your problem, you think those trillions are spent for defense.

Here's the first clue we are not defending anything, that force is being projected outwards.

And inwards.

They won't kill an ICBM. But there are other threats besides just ICBMs that can hit where they are.

Once a ballistic missile tip is up in space, anything that messes with it's fragile reentry insulating material would cause the ICBM payload to burn itself up on reentry. Seems like the period of vulnerability.

Everyone always saw how concerned the Shuttle people were on tv if something fell off the shuttle, wondering if reentry was going to be a funeral.

The RV doesn't use a heat shield like the shuttle. If it was that easy to damage it, we'd have a working ABM system already deployed.

Didn't think it had legos made out of foam but thought it would still be a vulnerable moment where an imprecise defensive weapon could cause an unsuccessful reentry.

With the likes of Obama draining the defense pool and Clintons afoot taking Chinese moneys, it's a wonder we have anything deployed.

Our ABM system has never worked well, from day one. It had nothing to do with who was in office, and everything to do with trying to shoot down a bullet, using another bullet, looking through binoculars.

If throwing more money at global warming is good policy, could never figure out why throwing more money at missile defense was never acceptable.

Because throwing money at it has, to date, done nothing but make someone rich. The tests stand at slightly more than 50% success, and that includes tests that were only simulations.

You might not have said it, but I always see it implied, that the US is responsible for all the bad in the world. Anything bad that happens is a false flag or some crap.

Well you are on a conspiracy site. 90 percent of the people that come in to ATS think there is some group trying to conquer the globe. The bug three I guess is the US govt the illuminati and bankers.
