They're coming out with a Final Fantasy VII remaster. Looking forward to it

FFVII was one of my go to games in college. The story was great, and the summonings had tremendous graphics at the time. I remember getting so pissed off trying to beat omega weapon.

Lol 45, and still play CoD4x (a community rebuild with better anti-hack control) every day with a group of weird but cool Sri Lankens, Philipinos, Indians and sometimes 1 guy from Quincy MO.. and Im in Aus.. a strange mix.. cant give it up, I cant aim to save my life, but they all groan when ive lobbed a c4 at them
or cooked a nade chasing someone.. stabbed a camper.

all about the fun for me, often when im going mad, ill see others start the same

was a bit weird a few years ago, there was a player called Jessica... as you know younger players can be a bit.. less than pleasant.. turns out his name is Harry, and his goatee is not what he was being asked to show.. lmao

I have not played it myself yet but my brother told me the new Zelda game is absolutely amazing. Me and him and have been gaming together sense we were 6 years old. He's a Zelda junkie.

Waiting for the expansion pack to come out then he will beat it again and let me borrow the game and console

Can't wait

As an introvert I must say RPG's make me feel like I'm in my own world and can control a story. As a kid in summer camp I'd even pretend I was in one of those worlds hahah.

The Fallout games are epic for sure. I can replay fallout 4 a million times and it never gets old.

I also forgot the Warcraft series. Not World of Warcraft, I'm talking Orcs and humans, Warcraft 2, 3 and Frozen Throne baby!!

I'm still not sold on purchasing a Switch yet but am really considering it just to play the new Zelda.

I replay Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time so much I'd love to just go for it.

Buy a switch. I just started Breath of the Wild, and it is tremendous so far

You love boots on the ground..You love cod..You hate campers..

Your hubby is a lucky man.

If you have a spare 5 minutes head on over to YouTube and check out "Campkill Commentary # 8 frequently asked questions"

Or if you only have 2 minutes check out the" camping homo" song on the same channel.

Or the camper down series on that channel.

All good stuff I think you might enjoy.

I only get to play when I visit my friend in New Hampshire , every time I travel down I bring my mw3 disc with me and he groans..still love it..

Husband and I are gamers.

We build our own computers for it ever since we bought a package computer and then had to go back to the store two hours later because we needed and immediate video card upgrade in order to game.

I am more aggressive and action oriented than he is, but I'm not a PvP type. I get tired of the attitude other competitive players have just am not quite competitive enough to want to spend that much time honing builds and skills; at that point, it stops being fun and starts being more like work to me.

I will play coop style games since I like teaming up with my husband. It's not a good idea to set us against each other ... ask sometime about the temporary divorce clause and how that came about.

I like turn-based strategy, simulation, third-person style action and shooter,RPG and a smattering of other types here and there.

Right now, I'm mostly immersed in XCOM2 getting psyched for the expansion to come out at the end of this month.

PS4 gamer here. Dad is going to buy me the VR bundle system next month. woohoo. Resident evil, Battlefield, waiting for Detroit to come out. I have over 50 games. lol I don't even play most of them. Was a little disappointed with Andromeda. Until Dawn is really good. I like RPGs too. Haven't played those since I got the PS4.

I'm really interested in the VR DOOM coming out I'd honestly get the bundle just for my love of Doom. I watched the trailer and the VR gameplay looks integrated pretty well.

Oh, hey, other adult gamers, awesome. Male, female, neither, both, eggplant, I don't care, you're adults. I'm in my mid-30s and been gaming since I was super tiny. Started on a TI-99/4A, Hunt The Wumpus! That led to the text-based games and eventually through the console years up to 360 then switched to PC, never looked back.

Lately I've been playing through 40k Sanctus Reach: Legacy of the Weirdboy (it's great), a little Binding of Isaac, RimWorld and occasional dips into Darkest Dungeon.

Adult gamers, you are not alone, or failures... well, you might be but that's not the fault of games... probably.

In college, we were with friends playing a board game called Samurai Swords. I was doing very well and in great position to have a good run at winning. Husband and another guy not so much. They were down to one daimyo each and those were under strength armies. So they made an agreement to drop everything and do a duel with just their daimyo pieces (basically single die roll); winner take all.

Husband won it.

Up to this point, I was fine with it, but then the rules interpretations kicked in. There was nothing in the rules to say they couldn't, but nothing to say they could. So that's when the group starts winging it. If one player takes out another, the game says you get all your daimyos back and can place them. He does this. Surrounds me with them and proceeds to cripple me severely because he gets a turn before I have any chance to react to the radical change on the board.

Kinda felt like I got screwed on that.

So, we are now divorced temporarily when we play against each other. It helps things feel a bit less personal.

Casual female gamer here, primarily play Warframe at the moment. I occasionally login to Star Trek: Online, pitter around in Myst Online, and am probably one of the most crooked Dragonborns Skyrim has seen yet :p

We've (husband & I) been considering TES Online & Destiny, TES Online has been on our radar since launch, and Destiny just looks interesting as hell.

I am surprised you didn't mention Warframe

No ish, one of the most underrated sci-fi MMOs out there, IMO. I used to be a complete diehard STO player until my husband suggested I give Warframe a try. I haven't actively played STO since, only the occasional login to collect on duty officer assignments.

STO honestly feels behind the times in terms of UI functionality & very dated graphically by comparison. It's enough for me, who normally doesn't care, to consider a bit of a turn-off. I still like the episodic style of the missions & appreciate some of the total masterpieces from players in the Foundry, but to be blunt, Warframe's gamelore is way better.

That & the grinding is fun in WF. In STO, it's a damn eye-gouging chore. WF keeps the tilesets & NPCs just varied enough to keep it from being completely monotonous, whereas in STO, it's the same map, and same NPC actions every damn time, zero variation.

Female gamer here also, well over 40 too.
I started playing because of my kids some 15 years ago when they needed help with the language, and I still play almost daily until today. Growing up they got into more serious games, strategy or shooters, now they play on Steam with their "elite' friends.

I've been grinding asian MMORPGs for a while with my partner but I'm not a team player. He is the one running with others ( he's russian and believe me they know how to care for each other) getting gear and stuff for both of us. I just like to run solo or with him only so we take complementary classes to help each other. Then he goes on to some PVP and I go fashion me some armor lol. Generally he's more competitive and I'm more exploring and learning the lore.
Then I got more into open world RPG games like Skyrim, Dragon Age Inquisition and the likes, building games (Minecraft is always on my computer, I am perpetually into some building project), Banished, or survival like Ark or Forest. At one point we played Minecraft on our private server and it was a blast. I even have some screenshots with Herobrine

I don't care about what other people think, I don't connect much with people on games, maybe trading from time to time. Most of the time they assume I'm male even if I play a female character, don't know why; of course I never ever mention my age lol. If there is an option I prefer to play offline. I play games because I like games, not necessarily the people. Right now I'm running Fallout 4 for the third time maybe, with all the DLCs, and having the time of my life. Planning to do some video of my buildings but I'm too lazy

To all the female gamers out there full power, and don't give a crap about what people say. Have fun and kick their arses

Edit: oh, and my avatar is my Archeage character. I loved that game but it's so messed up after a certain point...

Lol..

I suppose it's a good rule for you two then..

When I PvP I divorce my self from my mental profanity filter.. I sound like a very aggressive terrets syndrome sufferer..

Like Ralphie in the Christmas story when he is beating up the bully....
