When I say the majority of those who believe in conspiracy theories are the dumbest people on earth, I mean those who driven by paranoia are not able to search hard for reliable and objective evidence when confronted with dubious and controversial affairs, but rather make hasty judgments and allegations according to the ‘Who benefits?’ pattern.

Professionals in persuasion are well aware of that.
