Congressional Investigation Into Wasserman Schultz IT Scandal Moves Forward

Congressional leaders have requested a formal briefing from
Capitol Police into the criminal investigation of Imran Awan
and the group of Congressional Staffers who were caught
stealing equipment and data from Congressional Networks.

Congress is advancing an investigation into a growing scandal surrounding IT staffers working for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.), who are accused of stealing sensitive computer equipment from House lawmakers' offices, according to senior congressional sources who told the Washington Free Beacon the Democratic leader's refusal to answer questions could "merit resignation."

Congressional leaders have now requested a formal briefing by Capitol Police into its investigation of several Pakistani House IT staffers who are accused of stealing sensitive computer equipment and of illegally penetrating congressional networks.

They want Debbie to testify, and answer questions, especially
why she continued to pay Imran Awan for IT work, while he was banned
from touching IT work.

Leading members of Congress are growing frustrated with the pace of the criminal investigation and have moved to conduct their own independent prove into the scandal, according to multiple sources who indicated that the relevant congressional committees are making moves to start an investigation, which could include compelling testimony from Wasserman Schultz, who has been accused of stonewalling on the issue.

They mention her resignation will be merited if she continues
to stonewall and refuse accountability!

Seems pretty obvious that DWS is trying to hide something that the Awans know. The hard drives are out of her (and the DNC's) control, so I'm hopeful the info will be revealed eventually.

This is the real stufd here. These issues, being highlighted by congressional leaders, deserve a REAL DEEP look.

Perhaps there was a "love interest" between her and Awan, using her to furthee his plans for cash grabs and information that might be of use. The love interest certainly explains a lot of her actions.

I imagine there is some really damning evidence,

Now here is a good place for bipartisan independents to agree. This woman is terrible at being a good person.

This is exactly the type of investigation that needs a Special Counsel.
The partisanship in Congress will be a blocker to getting to the truth. There is an actual crime and arrest to initiate a SC, too.
