I have just read this on the "RENSE" site, the US has pulled 25,000 troops out of Iraq and moved them to Kuwait. This has been done under a vertual media blackout.

In the past there have been leaks from within the US military that there have incidences of rebellion in some US units. Is the US government sacrificing Iraqi security in order to maintain discipline, in their already over stretched ranks?

Can you think of any other factors/reasons why they moved so many in one go?

I haven't found any corroboration. Rense is labeled as dubious, by many seemingly clear headed individuals on this site. I wouldn't put too much stock in what he says.

I did hear about 15,000 troops being recalled after the election was over, but I think that had more to do with the fact that they were extra troops specifically placed in Iraq to police the election, and once it was over there was no more need for them to be there.

How would the US get 25k troops across the Saudi Arabian border without every Arab newspaper and television station loudly proclaiming it was a retreat? Unless of course Amerika and Yisrael are trying to retreat from Iraq and grab a little 'going away present' from the Saudi oil fields on their way out. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

We'll just have to wait and see what the Saudis say about this.

The above is an article that was also reporting about the removal of the troops. I have looked around but haven't found anything additional to this though. You would think that this would be big media news interesting that you can't find much about it. Weird!

Doesn't anyone find this the least bit peculiar? Here is an additional link to the evacuation of the 25,000 troops. It states British and American occupational forces closed roads and one journalist was arrested and his camera confiscated for taking pics. Why such a mass exodus and not a word in our media.

Personally, what I find dubious and peculiar is the sources that are being used within this topic thread to no less, verify what was initially posted by "Unspun".

I'd expect that a movement of 25,000 troops simply cannot be 'covered up'.
