Lets ask the Canadians who cross the border into the US for surgeries since they have to wait years to have them in Canada.

Most of those people come here for surgeries that aren't needed. Like a smaller nose or bigger tits.

Or we can ask Charlie Gards parents why the government of the UK decided their son was going to die since their health care is so wonderful.

There is no known treatment for the disease Charlie had except for a experimental treatment here in the states.

Yep, which is why the insurance companies were retained as the center of power in the ACA.

And under the GOPs they will still have the center of power.

This country is run 100% by corporations...from the POTUS on down...don't think that our [snipped] in chief is exempt.

The point of the Gard story is not the disease itself, but that the government stopped the parents from seeking other treatment options.

my point was that even in canada power is much more centralized and has nowhere near as many layers of bureaucracy as the US does, even if a few states agree to something not all of them will and even if they did agree they would not adopt every part of it or they would change it some way.

america should not be looked at as one single country but 50 different countries who can never agree to anything most of the time, not rich nations either but a bunch of 2nd and 3rd world countries for the most part.
