“We are the only major country on earth, the only one, not to guarantee healthcare to all people,” he said. “The result is 28 million people who are uninsured, millions of people who are paying deductibles and copayments that are far too high.”
In a political move, Republican Senator Steve Daines had tried to force Senate Democrats to vote for-or-against single payer last week during the most recent round of health care votes. But Democrats rejected the efforts, with none voting for it and most voting “present.” Four Democrats voted no: North Dakota’s Heidi Heitkamp, West Virginia’s Joe Manchin, Indiana’s Joe Donnelly and Montana’s Jon Tester. Liberal-leaning Maine Independent Angus King also voted no.

Say what you want about Russia. Russia is not corrupt. Russia's single payer healthcare uses only 7% of GDP and efficiently covers everyone. No insurance lobby threatening the government like what happens in America where 17% of GDP is spent on healthcare that still leaves more than 10% uninsured.

Well, considering even the most basic help right now (say you need an antibiotic) costs most people without insurance more than a weeks pay... I'd say just about anything would be better than what we have now

Any system that has been used in modern America is a money making business that happens to see sick people.
And any system in Modern America is doomed to fail due to profit motives. It is as simple as Medical is too expensive (compared to other countries).
He says America is the only country that does not guarantee healthcare for every person, leaving 28 million uninsured. Not true.
There are plenty of countries that doesn't guarantee this. Also, single payer does not guarantee good quality service. See Russia, China, India. Typically, single payer in other countries only offer the most basic coverage to everyone, the most basic.
They don't cover things like surgeries or cancer treatment.
so single payer will never be able to get through Congress.

When I have customers without insurance I will usually work with the doctors to get the most cost effective medications, that will also be therapeutically effective. Some antibiotics are not expensive at all....however, something like zyvoxx or vancomycin.....they are horribly expensive.

He says major country and on that part he is right. So your ignorant statement is wrong as usual.

You fell over yourself when you wrote the thread praising Russian healthcare and how America should follow them now they don't give quality service? Putin puppets need to work on their memory.
US healthcare is really bad. Trump should copy either Russia or China.
They don't cover things like surgeries or cancer treatment.
So people in nations like Canada and England doesn't get those things. Yeah ok do you make this crap up or is someone feeding it to you Comrade?
so single payer will never be able to get through Congress.
At least you got one thing right. Congress is in the pocket of big pharma and the insurance companies to let it pass.
