Scaramucci calls into CNN for wild interview about Priebus and leaks

It starts off with Scaramucci apologizing to some CNN staffer for accusing him of being "unpatriotic" for refusing to reveal his source. He can't stop blathering on, bragging about himself and the president, whom he loves. And then he starts telling us about his dinner with the president last night, "I don't think he'll mind if I tell you this.......but he said...blah blah blah...Russians didn't do it."

I couldn't help but think, isn't that exactly what Comey did, talk about what the president said during a dinner? Aren't they trying to get Comey for leaking classified/confidential material? But Anthony is Trump's friend, so he can talk about what the president says during private dinners.

And it's not a bill either. A bill is a proposal to write something into law. It is not to initiate any congressional or legal action by the government.
Maybe next year your class will cover this.

Too bad that the things that were leaked are in the public domain. The information could have been misused but so what? It wasn't illegal to leak it.

The reporter who wrote the story just pointed out that Scaramucci's finances are public and available to anyone

Woellert refuted Scaramucci's accusation that his disclosure form was leaked to her, and said the form was available to anyone who asks for it.

"Wow, sorry I slept through all the fun! FWIW, Mr @Scaramucci's Form 278e is publicly available from ExIm. Just ask," she tweeted early Thursday morning.

"My source for @Scaramucci financials was Ex-Im Bank. Period," she said in a second tweet.

And Scaramucci may be slinking back from his bold first tweet... in fact, he apparently deleted it. Not that it helps him - screenshots of it are all over the Internet.

Although he is new to the White House, Scaramucci had been employed at a senior level by the Export-Import Bank since June 19. After 30 days, the financial disclosure forms filed by senior administration officials are subject to public records requests.

After removing the tweet, Scaramucci denied that it was a threat to Priebus, writing that the deleted tweet was "was public notice to leakers that all Sr Adm officials are helping to end illegal leaks."

Well he's ready toast but he'll be toast boiled in oil if he messes with Mueller. Congress will turn around so fast and start a outside special investigation probably hiring Mueller to lead it. And outside council is not under the jurisdiction of the president or anybody who he hires to try and block it.

I like your optimism, although it is quite misplaced. When past corruption with the Clinton's was the talk of the town, your views were quite the opposite. So partisan and hypocritical.

Economy improving, retirement accounts soaring, illegals entering US are down dramatically, VA health care improving, law requiring health insurance being smacked down, gas prices staying low over the Summer... Well, this could be awkward. Trump's flying to NYC to give another speech (perhaps he'll just read it but it would be more amusing if he's "off the leash" again) and Priebus and Scaramucci are on Air Force One with him.

And then they have to fly back home together again.

Man, I wish we had recordings of this. it'll either be very tense or it'll be hours of The Donald musing in fragmentary sentences about himself and the wonderful job he thinks he's doing (or getting in a good rant about losing the Obamacare vote.)
