Venezuela's a different situation. They have a fascist leader who is literally rewriting the constitution to give himself unlimited power, while society melts down around him and people starve. Libs the world over are trying hard to ignore it, but this is a situation where a well-placed cruise missile or two could do the country a lot of good.

The United States put an iconoclastic communist Stalin-wannabe in charge of Venezuela? The United States somehow made Venezuela expropriate numerous foreign-owned businesses, including businesses owned by US companies (such as General Motors)?

The United States forced Venezuela to totally mismanage it's oil program? The United States told Venezuela to embark on a program of ruthlessly suppressing dissident voices?
