NYT Reporter: MY Sources Say Rinat Akhmetshin Worked With Fusion GPS Founder For Years

This is a spectacular admission on Twitter from a New York Times journalist at the reporting forefront of the Trump Jr. meeting.

It lends even more evidence to the growing suspicion that the entire meeting was a Fusion GPS orchestrated 'set up'.

Fusion GPS, one might recall, is responsible for the controversial and largely rejected Russian Trump Dossier (Obama bed-peeing Russian hookers, etc.).

What remains to be seen is whether or not the NYT will allow him to follow up on what his sources have reported to him and publish his findings in a story which may not fit his paper's political agenda.

Sources tell me Rinat Akhmetshin has worked w/ Fusion GPS founder for years; 1st as source when Simpson was WSJ reporter, & now on research.

It sure seems that there is a lot of possible collusion between the people that were controversially involved with Trump and the Obama Whitehouse. It appears this may have been coming right from the whitehouse. I expect the President and their staff to help their party, but not this way.

Seems like every time they try to dig up dirt on the Trump administration, all we see is the shady sh** the Democrats were into. Seriously, the corruption and manipulation being uncovered, leads right back to the Obama administration or the Democrat party, with the usual suspects with their fingerprints all over it.

This is blowing up in their face.

Oh well the RNC is no better than the DNC, except that their facade (their supposed 'politics', their ethics, and hypocrisy score, and etc) happen to be looking like an oasis in the face of the most monstrous facade the Dem's have been rolling over everyone in their way with (or at least trying to like they're going out of style) since the Obama yellow snowball really got rolling.

Note that critique isn't even a discussion of conservatism vs. liberalism, its about the RNC & DNC and the BS psychopathology complexes the "Two party's" mold their followers into (overtly), over the top corrupt cronism, etc, etc, etc.

Yeah if true it looks like political operatives in general, entrenched corruption, was in the mix. If true this will upend things.

When are we going to find out that it is probably much worse then we thought or have been thinking .Oh wait ,the Clinton's are near this so the sky is the limit and with the Podfather involved then the Gates of Hell are the depths .Speaking of Podesta ,where is he at these days ?

What makes you think this lends to the set up scenario? The meeting was set up by long time Trump friends and business partners.

I wonder if Trump didn't tell the media that they may as well call off the dogs... because Hillary and the DNC are going to be exposed for what they really are?

Akhmetshin made appointment number U62511 at 12:00 pm on January 2, 2016 through the Visitors Office. The appointment was scheduled to begin at 10:30 am with The Visitors Office in the White House East Wing and included a group of 274 people.

Originally scheduled to end at 11:59 pm, this visit should have lasted approximately 14 hours and was Akhmetshin's first visit since records were released in 2009.

The appointment is described in the records as "East Wing Tour Must Enter through Sherman Park".

What so TWO of the people in the meeting are linked to FusionGPS, the research firm trying to dig up dirt on Trump, and you don;t think this was a set up and political dirty tricks? Get real.

This makes a great deal of sense as a reason for the 'set up'.

Breaking: Lynch Ordered Manafort’s Phone Tapped During Veselnitskaya Meeting

Accusations have arisen that the meeting was part of a wider setup to achieve a FISA warrant to wiretap phones of the Trump campaign during 2016. President Trump himself has accused the FBI under Loretta Lynch of wiretapping his campaign.

Now, a former Trump campaign official reports that Paul Manafort’s phone was subject to FISA wiretap during the infamous meeting.

If true, this FISA warrant would have been carried out under Loretta Lynch, Attorney General to Barack Obama. Former FBI Director James Comey has testified under oath to instances of collusion between AG Lynch and the Clinton campaign during 2016, as well as obstruction of justice in the Clinton investigation.

Yesterday, multiple news agencies and President Trump all stated that Veselnitskaya was granted special permission to enter the US by Attorney General Lynch after her visa had been initially blocked.

FISA transcripts of the meeting in June 2016 may have also served the basis of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, now headed by Bob Mueller.
