Boy some people will try and twist everything..

This is only about trump and him making a deal with Russia..

No amount of deflecting is going to change that.. even trump has been silent..

In the same way that when an illegal alien who has been deported six or seven times and still comes back into the country illegally and manages to finally murder someone is only about that crime and not about the criminally porous borders that allowed him to keep coming back after having been kicked out?

Seriously, she should not have been in the country to arrange this meeting. Only in this case, given her high profile, she was on the radar by people who had to know what she was doing and were allowing her to be here in violation of the laws.

They did, and that case was settled 6 months prior to this particular meeting. She was only allowed in then in temporary parole because her visa was denied. She had no more reason to be in the states at that point.

To set up a potential October surprise.

All you need in October is something that creates a big enough scandal to swing the polls. It doesn't have to actually be real. None of this will hold up under much scrutiny. See how it's already coming apart? But, had they needed it, they could have brought it all out -- dossier and meeting -- over a period of a few days and done enough damage in the polls for it to not make much difference.

That's all you need late in the game.

Thing is that everyone was firmly convinced that Hillary was going to win ... right up until she didn't, so now they're doing with it what they can. The fact that just about everything unravels and doesn't hold up to scrutiny should be a window into the election scandal mongering reality.

The issue here is Obama should have had an interest
in protecting America from Russian election interference,
but instead he aided and abetted it!?

Was it not his duty as POTUS?

You seem to think that Obama knew that this attorney was going to meet with the Trump Campaign to conspire to interfere with the US Election in early June 2016. That's quite a reach.

In fact, the woman was in the US, as far as ICE knew, to promoted a political movie about the Magnitsky Act, attended a public hearing on the Magnitsky Act, meet with her client, Denis Katsyv, and generally lobby to repeal the Magnitsky Act.

Just so we're clear, the vitriol you're spewing is in defense of Donald Trump Jr, who posted this on Twitter that all the world can see, from Goldstone:

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump – helped along by Aras and Emin.

To which he replied (among other things):

I love it

Deflections include, for example, blaming others who have not produced self-incriminating documents (and if they are guilty then screw them too) and even this gem from Gregg Jarrett on Fox News:

Even conspiring to subvert the government doesn't rise to the level of treason.

You know, under our Constitution, Americans are permitted to speak against the government, undermine political opponents, support harmful policies, even place the interests of another nation ahead of those of the U.S.

Tell you what - if you say Hillary did the same thing then take her too. Both would be guilty as hell, were that to be the case.

Stop with the tu quoque bull# and either sayit's totally fine or it's not fine. Both of them or neither.

When the DNC first head the Billy Bush tapes, do you think they thought "this is years ago, it's not something we need to use against our adversary"? Or perhaps when they trotted out the lying women who claim Trump molested them?

Yea, I suppose in a political situation like the run for President, nobody would be interested in dirt on their rival.
(you are supposed to be one of the intelligent ones here, you aren't holding up your end)

Just so you know, that would be a very good definition of "collusion". Obama had better hope Lynch doesn't get flustered and tell the truth.

There are lots of hypothetical situations that would be even better examples of "collusion".........but, we're being led in a direction now that is beyond "collusion"......"CONSPIRACY"!

Now, we're in the ATS wheel house, and boy are the wheels turning! And, don't forget, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease".

Fortunately, I don't believe that the fate of this nation or of the Trump Administration will be decided by social media arm chair conspiracy theorist.

Trump wasn't there.

No deal was made.

The female lawyer wasn't on official business from Russia.

The whole meeting was a setup.

Nothing happened.

Time to move on to the next fake controversy.

More fuel for the fire:

Breaking: TOP HILLARY SUPPORTER Was Russian Lawyer Veselnitskaya’s Chaperone in Washington DC

The Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. in Trump Tower also spent quite a bit of time in Washington DC after her meeting with Trump Jr. at Trump Tower.

Her chaperone Ron Dellums was a huge Hillary Clinton supporter.

Fair enough... obviously she was a russian agent trying to swing the election for the Russian government.. obviously she shouldn't have been let in..

The question is how was the DOJ supposed to know what she had planned?? They couldn't..

But the trump campaign knew what she had planned and did they think she should be kicked out??

No they thought they should make a deal with her..

So please explain to me how the what the doj did was worse???

She was escorted by Democrat Ron Dellums to
a DC dinner party on Capitol Hill.

She is a Democrat Operative.

She's a lobbyist, that indiscriminately works to achieve her agenda, regardless of party affiliation.

No she is not a lobbyist, and GPS Fusion is unregistered,
as well as her buddy Rinat Akhemetshin.

Charles Grassley is informed, and demanding answers.
He has written DHS John Kelly to investigate why these two
are in DC acting as foreign agents yet they are not
registered in a FARA filing which is required by law.

Same thing Flynn is accused of.

So they concocted this little ruse with an obscure Russian govt lawyer and stuck it in their back pocket just in case, but never used it? That... makes no sense.

How do you know they never used it?
Obama could have used the entire situation to unmask everyone in that meeting.
